The Iron Horse Inn in Cottonwood

The check-in was easy and staff very cordial. The room is quite nice for an older style hotel; they have done a great job with updates making it feel very modern. The courtyard area is unique and makes for a nice gathering place. The coffee room has a great selection of k-pod brews which is really nice.

We went with the less expensive room with two twin beds. We didn’t need much- a clean room, a good bed, and a shower. We came in around 7pm and left the next morning around 10 am.
It’s a lovely old hotel in the historic district of Cottonwood. It has a courtyard with tables and chairs for longing and visiting. Check-in and out was easy. We had the same young lady both times, and she was great.
You do park on the street or in a close-by public parking area and you may have stairs to climb if you’re on the second floor.
I found it to be wonderfully quaint and quiet, and of course, affordable.
The room had a refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee maker, along with a big screen TV.
It was a clean and efficient and I would most definitely stay here again. Bonus…..there are many shops, pubs and restaurants that surround the the Iron Horse.

Staying at the Iron Horse Inn in Cottonwood is always such a treat for us—it’s become our absolute go-to spot every time we make the drive up from Phoenix for our many Cottonwood getaways. There’s just something special about rolling in, checking into those cozy, spotless rooms, and knowing we’re right in the heart of historic Old Town. From the front door, it’s literally a quick, happy stroll down Main Street to all the best wine tasting rooms, where we love hopping from one to the next, sipping incredible Verde Valley vintages without ever touching the car. The food scene nearby is fantastic too—whether we’re grabbing a casual bite or something a little fancier to pair with our wine haul, it always hits the spot. And when the sun goes down, the street lights up with live music from great local acts playing at the bars and venues, turning our evenings into the perfect mix of laid-back fun and good vibes. The welcoming feel of the inn, combined with that unbeatable location, makes every trip feel like coming home—we’re already counting down to our next visit!

Clean , and safe area with easy parking and walking available to every restaurant and store

It was our third stay at this inn. We just find it comfortable and charming. We will visit again in the future.

The staff were ALL amazing. The room was small but adorable and perfectly provisioned. The coffee bar was extensive and had great choices. The outdoor sitting area was awesome. Literally our stay couldn’t have been any more perfect. Highly recommend!!

Parking was easy and secure. Room was clean, liked the coffee maker, that was different. huge selection of KPODs and it was in the coffee room, instead of your room.

This was a third time to stay at Ironwood Inn. Parking is convenient, staff are friendly & rooms are clean & spacious. The location is within walking distance of shopping & eat

The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The location is perfect to be able to walk everywhere and enjoy the tasting rooms. The staff were nice and all the guests raved about how much they liked the hotel.

The only down side is the bathroom is quite small due to the age of the building so there is just a tiny sink and no space to put your toiletries.
