We had a delay in our American Airlines connection with a long layover in Phoenix and we needed a place to rest that would be a good choice for our family. The Tempe Mission Palms was an amazing respite for me, my wife, and the kids. Beds were really comfortable, staff was super accommodating and friendly. We were planning on using the pool and hot tub but caught up on sleep instead (got really good rest in the room). Toiletries were very nice with soothing scents that weren't overpowering. The hotel has a free shuttle to and from the airport. We called the hotel right as we landed and shortly after we exited baggage claim, the shuttle arrived. Easy 15 min ride back to the hotel from the airport.
Also, around the hotel there are a lot of local food options as it in the middle of the ASU campus.
I wish more hotels were human centric like this one!

Convenient, clean, long wait in restaurant on a night that they should have anticipated would be busy.

Had a courtyard view King room, very clean and well maintained. The rooftop pool was amazing. The staff was excellent.

Great pool. Not overcrowded (was there in late May).
My room could have used a new mattress, however. There was a divot across the entire head of the bed that eventually led to discomfort sleeping.
Staff was friendly and helpful for requests and questions.
Parking was a bit odd, but once you understood where you can park it wasn't bad.
I had a wedding function to go to the first night and a wedding the second day. On the first day, I parked under a tree lined area for some shade, and in the 2 hours I was parked, a bird completely bombed my passenger side door to the point that I had to go for a last minute car wash. Not the hotel's fault, but lesson learned.
We enjoyed Harry's Place for a drink on a few nights. The apple chimichanga dessert was amazing. Cocktails were a bit inconsistent, but it was different bartenders.

Staff was wonderful, amenities were beautiful, close to airport, the rooftop pool was great-server came around with ice waiters which made you feel catered to. Would definitely recommend this stay again

This hotel is by far the best hotel in Arizona. I have been to Scottsdale 3 times different hotels; Phoenix, Tucson and Airbnb in Phoenix and Scottsdale. All of them are on the scale 1–5. They were 3 only one hotel in Scottsdale was a 4, but Tempe Mission hotel is all around the best hotel. Congratulations, you know how to treat your guests.

Wonderful trip. The staff were very polite & helpful. Only hiccups were- waiting for the shuttle which takes 10-20 minutes but mine was an hour. And the A/C made a lot of banging noises. Would I come again, yes!

Property is well kept and really pretty. Rooms are quiet and Location of the hotel is unbeatable if you have a student at ASU. We were able to walk everywhere and parking was really really easy.

Property has a fabulous location and wonderful amenities. I rated 4 stars overall as both rooms that we booked had furniture that was damaged and noticeable. The bed frames had torn corners and chipped dressers. One room had a bolt that was broken. We also had several issues with the dinning. I would absolutely stay again as it is my choice in Tempe. Overall the staff is incredibly helpful especially Evan at the desk! Absolutely fantastic!

Staff is so nice and helpful! Fresh fruit for breakfast was amazing! The pool is shallow, but so nice and was never crowded! We were there right before ASU graduation, so downtown was a little loud. There is a train that goes by all night long. Great spot, tho! Next time I will take a noise maker to sleep better
