The Monkey Tree Hotel

This was a beautiful clean well maintained place to be if you want relaxing with absolute privacy. I really loved being there - stayed in the jungle room which has a wallef back yard a shower that can also be a tub for two. Small pool with pivacy wall and large pool for the ohher rooms. It was so clean and well cared for. Only 2 per room and no kids under 14 made it excellent. They provided a nice list of thongs to see and do as well as best restaurants. Will definitely return last ved everything about Monkey Tree Hotel

This is an adorable mid-century modern style Hotel. The rooms surround the swimming pool and jacuzzi and the minute you walk through the gate you feel like you've been transported into the 1960s. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. I would not suggest this hotel for children because it does not lend itself to a lot of running around or horseplay. This is the kind of place you want to stay for a fun or romantic week long getaway.

The location is just enough off the beaten path to be relaxing and quiet with a million dollar view of the mountains and only about a 3-5 minute drive from Downtown Palm Springs so you can enjoy the nightlife but at a reasonable enough distance so that it's not on top of you. Well-managed and well-maintained, I highly recommend this property for a future get away.

Loved The Monkey Tree Hotel! It's a quaint, 16-room, little historic hotel. Quiet. Breakfast service. Rumor has it JFK, Marilyn Monroe, Desi and Lucille, Eric Clapton all stayed here back in the day.

Great place of 60s motif, designed by famous architect who did city hall and tram terminal among othe iconic local building'.

Gary and Cathy own and operate Monkey Tree after refurbishing it from top to bottom while preserving the original character. They are very personable and helpful offering tips/advise on local area.
