I was greeted kindly and the nice guy at the front desk let me check in early for a noon event at the Golden One Center. My room was clean, and though there was some noise and the occasional smell of cigarette smoke from outside neighbors, along with the coffee maker not working, I appreciated the staff assisting me with water bottles and snacks when the water was shut off during my second day. The Manager was very nice and also offered a partial refund. The hotel is within easy walking distance of downtown, Old Town, Golden One Center, etc.

Honestly, for a motel, it's not bad at all. Clean, well located, and with relatively modern facilities. A bonus was the small express breakfast in the morning. I would choose it again.

The room we were given had a backed up sink with throw up in it. Then the 2nd room we were given had a gap all around the door so you can hear every single noise from outside.

Remote for TV didn't work properly. Brought issue to front desk attendant. Said someone would check. Came back and nothing had been done. Attendant accompanied me to room, swapped our batteries. Still no response. Claimed that you had to turn on and off several times. Returned to room second night. Water dripping from roof of bathroom in several places. Floor was soaked. Front desk said the hotel was full and there was no one to address issue. Said that a note was left and a discount would be provided. Upon checkout, attendant said that the room had been paid for thru ******* and an adjustment couldn't be made, but an adjustment could be made upon a future visit. Last stayed there 20 years ago. I won't return.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Convenient and (actually quiet) location just across the street from old sac.although we frequently enjoy the more expensive upscaled 4 star hotels yet for the purpose of our stay, this is a great price…perfect for a no frills place to comfortably crash when you’re spending most of your time out enjoying the city.

This was probably one of the best dining experiences I have had in all of Sacramento. They are very accommodating of food allergies, the service was phenomenal, and the atmosphere pleasant. I would highly recommend a nice dinner here to celebrate any special occasion.

Last visit very disappointed... Food took very long and arrived first time wrong and cold second time cold . The first fist was good so i hope was just a bad night

Firehouse is one of the few "fancy" restaurants in Sacramento. All the staff are very well dressed and the courses are masterfully prepared by the chefs. Between each course, small tasters are provided to help either cleanse or prepare your palate for the next course. Overall, the experience is definitely different than your regular night out at a restaurant. To help those thinking about visiting, I had the chicken for my main course and it was probably the best chicken dish I have ever had (it was not overcooked and was extremely moist).

5 stars because the experience was very nice. our server seemed a little nervous but was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was nice and romantic of course. The price is a little high for the food, which was excellent by the way. I was a little dissapointed in the flavor of my Delmonico of beef (rib eye steak) but it was cooked perfectly medium rare (I seem to have bad luck and tend to get poorly cooked steaks when eating out, that didn't happen here). The scallop and pork belly appetizers were both delicious. I would certainly come back for a special occasion.

This place is the perfect setting for a romantic date, celebration dinner, or anything that deserves a classy get together. I went there for Dinner and this was my experience:
Atmosphere - Classy atmosphere, romantically dim, and table setting was exemplary. Love the bar when you walk in and the entire mood of the place was just perfect. Definitely sets the mood for a classy dinner.
Food - We ordered the 5 course meal for 2 and it was amazing! This was our first "course-like" dinner and it definitely lived up to its expectations. Also appreciated the mid-meal palette cleanser.
Service - A+ service to go with an A+ restaurant. The staff was nice, pleasant, and very attentive to our table. Knew the menu back and forth and answered all of our questions.
