I want to take a moment to sincerely thank the team at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco for making our wedding extra special. We didn’t have to stay here since we live in Oakland and could’ve just driven across the bridge for our big day but choosing to stay the night before was one of the best decisions we made. It completely eased the stress of wedding day traffic and allowed us to fully enjoy the moment.

A special thank-you to Rose and Elena from the Guest Relations team for their thoughtful care, Matthai from the Club Lounge for being so kind, attentive, and wonderful to talk to, and George from the Front Desk for his warm and welcoming energy. The valet, doormen
and concierge teams also went above and beyond to make us feel celebrated.

What a truly beautiful hotel and an incredible experience overall. Thank you for making our wedding stay so memorable — from Liam and Natsumi 💍

What a magical place. Every employee seemed happy and ready to make our stay as special as they possibly could. The restaurant had amazing food and the waiter… Ray… was perfection. The room was from a dream. I cannot tell you how well appointed, clean and comfortable we were in this space.
The place was impeccably clean, well stocked and comfortable. This place and these ppl made our 40th anniversary pre Hawaiian cruise hotel experience a 100/10 and left me speechless. I LOVED this place. Unfortunately, upon our return the Ritz did not have availability. We were forced to stay at the Fairmont of which I hated. It’s the ritz all the way !! If I coulda given you a thousand stars I would have.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️ WAY TO RUN A HIGH END ESTABLISHMENT!!!!

My furbaby and I stopped by the Ritz-Carlton lounge on October 14 for a relaxing quiet afternoon. Although it was surprisingly very busy, we enjoyed the delicious halibut and cookies.

But i am actually writing to highlight the exceptional service I received from the front desk staff. After getting the rest of the cookies to go, I passed by the front desk where i was greeted with a warm, genuine smile — a small gesture that immediately stood out. When I returned a few minutes later with my request for a bag, he went out of his way twice to the backroom to find the most appropriately sized bag. It may seem like a small task, but the level of care, attention to detail, and commitment to guest satisfaction truly left an impression.

He seemed to be the only one who actively acknowledged guests in the area and made a sincere effort to make me feel welcome. a rare quality even in luxury hospitality, especially in San Francisco.

I sincerely hope management recognizes this team member’s five-star level of service. He truly embodies the excellence and hospitality that the Ritz-Carlton name represents.

I felt compelled to write a review for our stay at the Ritz solely because of the service. The front desk and guest relations department made our stay so special. We got married while staying at the Ritz and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable time. Special shout out to Rose, Elena, and Jamie Ann for all of your hard work. It was MUCH appreciated. Also, the room we had was gorgeous. The breakfast room service was 10/10, and the late night bar was a fabulous time with great drinks. This is the second time staying here and we will definitely return in the future.

As always the service at a Ritz is top shelf. This location did not disappoint. While I have stayed at some of the best hotels in the world there is just nothing like the Ritz. From the moment you walk in to the time you leave, you wish is their command. The cocktails were amazing (overpriced yes but quite inventive and tasty). The room was spacious and had touches that you don't find in other hotels. The bedding was simply heavenly as you would expect from a Ritz Carlton. Also one thing most Ritz's are known for is beautiful buildings and this location does not disappoint. If I had to find any negative, on the 6th floor the wall sconces with the ceiling lights in the hallways did not match and were really odd to put together. It was like putting a temu dress with Ferragamo shoes (which may not always be bad but when its bad it's bad, and this was BAD). Though other than one drunken designers bad choice the rest of the hotel was damn near perfect.

Hotel with over 100 year-old history. Great location five minutes from Chinatown in 10 minutes from Union Square. This is a pet friendly hotel so please beware if you are not particularly fun of dogs this may not be the hotel for you. There is no breakfast buffet to our surprise.

I stayed in the smallest Ritz. I had to wait for almost an hour to get a bed and quilt. The breakfast was fixed. The overall cost performance was not high.

Every staff at the front desk is very nice. The whole hotel is near Chinatown, which is convenient for access. The decoration style is very Old Fashion, old money style; it is worth staying again
