Four stars for the customer service at the front desk by Michael, and the staff that would say hello and smile to you. However, the hotel smelled like smoke on the ground floor in the lobby and breakfast area as if the employees or people staying there smoke cigarettes inside. You cannot smell it during breakfast time because the food smells better . The rooms are a little dated but do the job and for the most part are clean. The curtains are super dusty at the top and you can see the dust residue on top of the curtain so try not to move them or touch them. The pillows are nice and fluffy with down alternative. Rooms are simple and have a refrigerator. No weird spots or food residue anywhere. The bathroom toilet did not flush very well, but at least the bathroom was clean. The parking is free which is a major plus and they give you breakfast which is another major Plus.
There are definitely a lot nicer hotels available in the area, and really if it were not for the staff the hotel deserves three stars. They really need to fix the cigarette smell in the main public areas.
I would stay here again because of the convenience, the breakfast, the free parking, and the nice staff.

This was one of the most HORRIBLE hotels I've ever stayed at. The reason I stayed here was because it was suggested by the conference that I was attending. I couldn't find another room to book by the convention center while I was there, so I was stuck at this hotel. Here are so things you will see in the photos I'm attaching: throw up that was not cleaned up for for over 24 hours and smelled up the whole hallway. And yes, I did point it out to staff the night before and in my way out in the morning, the smell was so strong, and it still hasn't been cleaned. Dirty chairs in the lobby, mold in the shower head, and the room basically falling apart. In addition, my room smelled like mold, there was no safe, or refrigerator. My other colleagues had a refrigerator in there room. We all took pictures because we were all disgusted and wanted to warn others not to stay here.

Do not stay here!! Expected decent hotel nothing fancy. No hot water and nobody followed up or offered a discount. Not enough chairs at breakfast, carpet peeling and Hallway not clean, inside of windows are wet, bed made my back sore. When I checked out no thank you or anything. I’ve never been here before but the staff gave me a list of places to eat but couldn’t say which were closest.

This hotel was within walking distance of downtown area that had many good eating establishments. The hotel itself was generally clean, staff was friendly, and they offered a free continental breakfast. Overall, not a bad stay for the price paid.

Hotel was undergoing a remodel when I arrived. The front of the building was blocked off. I had to use a side entrance where a temporary front desk was set up. The rooms are dated with a lot of cosmetic issues through out. The bed was not very comfortable at all. In the morning when I needed to shave I would have to use the hot water in the bath tube just to get hot water. The sink water never would get hot. Since my arrival I did not see any remolding started until after Tuesday. The building next to the hotel was boarded up and look like it was about to be torn down. I can say the staff here are very polite and helpful.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The location is great and the staff is friendly. My room was missing my mini fridge which I rely on since I have special dietary restrictions. I stayed several days to attend a work conference. Unfortunately the fridge they brought to my room after I let them know it was missing froze all my food. My coworker also stayed here and her fridge barely worked. Hopefully they get new fridges during the renovation they are currently undergoing!

First, the customer service was excellent, friendly, professional. The breakfast was plentiful with many options. The rooms were impeccably clean. BUT, the hotel is rundown (plumbing not working, thermostats practically falling off the wall, chipped bathtubs). They are mid-renovations... So they know improvement is needed. Location-wise, the hotel is centrally located downtown. In conclusion, I would have given five stars because of their service, but deducted one star for the state of the building.

3 stars simply because of circumstances, at least for most reasons: the parking spaces are a bit of a tight fit but manageable, although the opening to drive in (there is only one) was quite small. The building is under reconstruction so I'm taking that into account, it doesn't obstruct any of the inside play of the building itself though. The carpeting/ flooring is in patterns where it's a bit dizzying. The continental breakfast had quite a few delicious and varying choices. The staff are extremely friendly and quick to help. The beds and pillows are new so they were incredibly comfortable! I've never slept so well in a hotel before! The pillows are of feathers, so quite comfy. The room does have a mini fridge, but no microwave, I stayed on the third floor and had to go down to the first floor to use the lobby microwave to heat food up. The bathroom was a bit different than most I've been: the shower (no bath) isn't separated by a tub or a shower door, the shower and rest of the bathroom share the same tile floor, so when you shower though may need to lay down towels so nobody slips when they use the restroom. All in all, a good experience and will visit again.

Staff was really helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The sound proofing is a bit lacking. The first room we got the plumbing was way too loud and making a clunking sound when neighboring guests would use their bathrooms. So we asked to be moved and they were nice about it. The windows are old so they don't block out noise from outside. The bathroom supplies were adequate. The bed was a bit firm and lumpy. Just okay.

This hotel could definitely get a makeover. Everything looks like stuck in the seventies. The AC is quite loud, but the bed is comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

The food was wonderful and our server was great! I'm on a restricted diet for my migraines so can't have gluten or dairy and they had options for me on all the meal courses. It is a little pricy, but it was worth it.

We walked in wearing dressy casual clothes at 5:30pm , upon seeing many EMPTY tables. They said “we only have the high tables which will be about an 1 hr 20 min wait” An eldest man had just walked in and having a nice moment with a friend (I presume) and they break a bottle of wine. However they still get better treatment than my mother and I

This was an amazing experiance. The food was amazing, the service was even better. I took my wife for our anniversary, and they went out of their way to make it a good experiance. Top notch, I would recommend The Melting Pot to anyone.

Wanted to go all in on a Valentine's day date and I decided Melting Pot since it was really a romantic setting. Made a reservation and by the way folks, they do open reservations for V-Day like around November for popular times during that day especially if it's a weekend!

I went around 1:30pm so it was really easy for me to get one about 1-2 weeks prior. The hostess was sweet and got me in.

Now for V-Day, I went there early just in case and just sat at the waiting area. When our time came up, we were escorted to our table.
Now I can see why people try to come here in hoards and try to get in. Reservations are always a good idea here and you should always make one just in case!

The menu for V-Day is only one price and one choice. A four course meal which is at the price at $200 and for some people that's chump change but for me it was quite a few George Washington's than I am okay with but what the heck, might as well right?

The four course is comprised of 3 parts, appetizer, main course and then dessert. Unless your partner is the mighty hulk, there is enough for two of you. The appetizer is just the cheese fondue which you can dip various goodies in. Then you have the main course which comprises of various meats and shrimp. Now if you are vegetarian, it kinda sucks because your food that you use to cook (yes you cook it yourself in a pot!!!) is narrowed down to shrimp.

Of course dessert comes in and saves the day like all the time. You are given chocolate fondue and given various things like cakes, strawberries to dip it in!

Honestly it would be a better place if you go any other time besides V-Day. They jack up the prices like 100% and give you no options. For this I have to give it 3 stars as it is not worth it to go on V-Day. It was disappointing to be charged that much just because we went on a popular holiday. I'll be visiting the melting pot again on a non holiday so I can experience it without exorbitant prices because $22 for cheese fondue is what I can live with but not marked up 100% extra

I took my wife here for her birthday. It was as romantic as I could have hoped! Dim lighting was so relaxing, they even accommodated a birthday surprise for my wife by request by making a special platter. The price was not bad at all considering how much we ordered, how nice and fancy it was, and how great of a time we had there! For the best deal defitely go for the deal they offer that consists of appetizers, meal and dessert all in one all inclusive price! 10/10, would absolutely go again! I can't wait for my next visit.
