The room showed on line was very different from what we got. When it said pick your room, is bogus. What I picked was a nice newer looking room. What we got was an old old room with layers and layers of paint. Hallways leading to the rooms have OLD DINGEY carpet, Old wall papers and low low lighting. It was actually a little creepy walking down the hall in the evenings. Really reminded me of the movie “The
Shinning” On a plus, an important plus. although not what I chose and saw on line. The Room Was Clean. Just smaller than advertised. So small my husband and I could not stand up or walk by each other at the same time. Disappointed and will not be staying there again or anywhere with the same Hotel name tied to it.

Facilities and cleanness of establishment could be better. Shower heads need maintenance and the toilets need more upkeep.

The room was clean and nice. There is plenty of parking, which is nice in thst area around Shelter Island.

Staff at the Wyndham are very polite and professional. Room was an excellent choice for a 3 day relax. I like seeing the renovation work.

The room was clean. It was equipped with everything needed ( Small fridge, microwave, coffee maker...etc).
The swimming pool was great.

Odd building. Narrow hallways, maze like. Elevator is tiny. Room was small and cramped. Unpleasant combination of elevator, hallways and stairs to get to our room.
Nice simple snack shop in lobby. Nice pool. $50 deposit on a card when you check in. I wanted to hate the place because of the building design but didn’t.

My only complaint is that my stomach isn't bigger. Food was awesome, prices weren't out of control, people were great! This is the kind of place you hope for when you're looking for local and fresh. EAT HERE

Crowded on weekends but worth the wait. Great views of the marina. Watch out for the seagulls. They have no fear. They will go after unattended fries. Try their octopus tostada! Excellent flavor.

Very tasty seafood and fantastic setting. I had the calamari, half a spiny lobster and a tuna taco. All were very tasty and well priced. Busy and there was a 30 minute wait for food but watching the boat traffic and the activity on the dock was very pleasant. Would definitely go back.

Tiny little place right in the harbor with the best crab cakes I've ever tasted. They bring in a specialty beer every so often. We had the fried sampler and everything was fantastic (fish, calamari, crab cake, & shrimp). The shrimp were very tender. We'll be back next time to try the seafood platter or maybe a taco Tuesday (I've heard the lines are very long).

Such a find. You'll have to hunt for it. I'll leave that part up to you, as with the crowd size, this place is a well known "secret". For good reason, the selection of fresh seafood is staggering and the quality is great. They have a separate line for takeout, beer & wine only orders, which is nice. Can also use this (much shorter) line for beer & wine refills. Enjoy!

One of my all time favorite restaurants! The white sauce is to die for. You will not find it anywhere else. I always stick to a chicken burrito a la carte with rancheros sauce....yum ?❤?

The blue corn enchiladas were outrageously good, like nothing I've had on the east coast. My husband loved the fried calamari, and his surf and turf burrito was bigger than his arm. We ate leftovers of our meals plus the rice and beans that came with them for 3 days. The cheese dip will knock your socks off.

I am a regular customer and love everything about Miguel's. The service is stellar and food on point. I enjoy brunches on their patio regularly with family and have never had a negative experience. Management is visible and engaging. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Miguel's!

First time I visited, I was hooked, BUT, that was BACK IN THE DAY. My LAST Visit ( LAST ) was less than satisfactory. Maybe I am comparing, but the TWO Hostesses at the front door could have been mistaken for TWO GRANITE ICE BURGS. The food, though Always GOOD, was less in Quantity. Though the Upstairs service was o.k., It lacked the warm feeling that they would extend to their own family or friends, making you feel like they WANTED you to return. That was MY LAST visit. I will NOT be back. Too bad too, because their white sauce is the best I have tasted anywhere.
