The guest services were not my issue. But the bathroom floor was not very clean, and the bed sizes are a joke. Brittany and Stephanie were great though. They were polite and were doing the best to provide our accommodations. This hotel's idea of a king size bed is actually a queen, and their queen is actually a full size bed - Just so you know what you're getting. We don't see ourselves staying here again.

The hotel was very nice and clean and great value for the money. It just sits in a strange pocket of an area that is sketch. The hotel next door attracts a seedy crowd and there are many vagrants hanging around. However, once you got to main road the area was fine and very close to everything. I did enjoy my stay and would stay here again.

First of all the staff was amazing. But our stay was awful. Our room had mold in the bathrooms, the fridge did not work which is a struggle with a toddler that drinks milk. Parking was an absolute nightmare because they just let anyone park in their parking lot. So they expect you to pay for parking but you have to park on the street Unless you park by 3pm. My biggest complaint is I left a bag full of brand new clothes. I called right away when I realized it. I got forwarded to I’m assuming a manager who did absolutely nothing. As if the clothes are in valuable that was about $200 worth of brand new clothes in that bag that I know for a fact was probably stolen. It saddens me that this hotel can not be trusted. I will most definitely be spreading the word about this hotel to anyone and everyone I can. They told me that somebody would be calling me within that very day when I got off the phone with the manager, and nobody called me. So for them to feel like One of the guests personal property Was not of any value just goes to show they probably do a lot of shady things. I will be putting in another complaint with actual corporate about this considering I did try to reach out to the actual hotel myself and nothing was done on their behalf. So if you like a loud hotel with drunk people everywhere, people smoking pot in the elevators, with a dishonest cleaning service and no parking. This hotel is for you.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was a very nice hotel. Good amenities and it all felt very nice. But the trouble was the location. It’s in a very ghetto area, with several strip clubs not even a block away and most of the room’s view could be taken up by ads for weed stores. Has to pay $20/day for parking and the front desk even recommended we didn’t seek out free parking because of the area. The breakfast buffet seemed free but it’s not. There was an easy to miss sign labeling the prices, $15/person. When I was handed a bill I was flabbergasted as there was nothing about the buffet that was different than a normal complimentary hotel breakfast. Overall though a nice hotel, just blindsided as someone who isn’t used to California.

The neighborhood seems a little sketchy but not as bad as other reviews suggest. I parked on the street to save the $15 a night parking fee, which considering the area should be free. The rooms are okay. There’s torn carpet, blinds that don’t completely shut, and a really strong chemical smell that I can only assume is trying to cover up something bad. The room I was given was all the way at the back with a view overlooking some power lines and a parking lot, about a snaking 15 minute walk from the lobby. I think the front desk is aware they have noise problems with neighboring rooms so they try to spread guests out. This worked for me, my stay was quiet but you can absolutely hear every word of a private conversation through doors as you walk down the hallway. This is a 2.5* hotel, definitely not 3.5* as they market themselves. If my expectations were lower I would have given them a much higher rating.

Started overnight for two nights. First night came in late but had previously spoken with the front desk about coming late at night. First night we didn't get the room type we reserved but we were able to switch the next morning. They gave us a voucher for free breakfast which was good. It was for a buffet which had a decent standard hotel breakfast. Both rooms we stayed in were clean an tidy. We had one room on the third floor and the shower there had good pressure which was a delightful surprise. The showers also have dispensers in them for soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Overall enjoyed the stay and would come again.

Always great here. Friendly and efficient staff, quiet hotel, nice pillows. Good free coffee in the morning. Better than higher end hotels in Starwood without being fancy or expensive. Perfect alternative to downtown hotels. Short ride to business district

We stayed a week and enjoyed our stay. The location is a bit shady and paying for parking is something I've never heard of before so I gave it a 4 star. It is central to everything we wanted to see and do so that was a great for us.

The rooms are clean and well kept, but glasses can sit outside rooms for a day. The staff was friendly and quick to address issues. Good location and easy access to the rest of SD with a few micro breweries and other eateries within walking distance. Kitchen is open for breakfast and dinner, bit does not serve lunch.
