Reviews
Cons: elevator in the parking garage needs work. Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn’t. I had a room on the 4th floor and apparently on multiple occasions, it didn’t like to go past the 3rd floor. Gym- well that was terrible. I wouldn’t even call that a gym it’s more like three cardio machines stacked in a tiny room. No free weights no pulley systems etc, pointless. Parking- you have to pay and a reason I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s like a restaurant charging you to use silverware and plates? Makes no sense. The hotel is located off the beaten track not like it’s a prime location downtown. No need to charge for this and just a way to squeeze more money out of you. There is street parking but there are homeless people around and for some reason most of the curbs are painted faded red so it’s really hard to see at night and there is no reason for so much red restricted areas to park. A very poor business practice. Safe- ?, security guard enjoyed sitting in the lobby on his phone so I’m pretty sure the front desk was ok, as far as walking around the property not sure that was a normal part of his routine. Overall it was fine, nothing spectacular. Good location off of the freeway and close to attractions. Would I stay here again? No. The parking fees and lack of a proper gym would keep me away in the future.

One of the Greatest Original
Steak Houses left in San Diego is
Hunter's Steakhouse. It's the same as it was 30 years ago and that's definitely a Really Good Thing.
My husband and i had the porterhouse Steaks and their Infamous Au Gratin potatoes loaded with flavors of onion and bacon. My Steak was perfect as asked as was Jose's. Fresh steamed broccoli and baked potato for him.
Fresh baked pumpernickel bread with real butter stared us in the face as soon as we sat down.
Up next was our house salad tossed at the table with carrots, sprouts &mushrooms for me and cucumbers, onions, cherry tomatoes, croutons and fresh cheese towered Jose's plate with a perfect vinaigrette.
The picture of just the steaks on the plate was our leftovers from a 18oz. Porterhouse we each had and we had steak and eggs for breakfast.
The other pictures show our to go orders we got the following week.
This is a treasure still found in its original spot nestled off the 8 west directly across from DMV Mission Valley.
