This property needs updating. Although, you get what you paid for, the facility still needs some love and maintenance.

Fix the elevator (out of order throughout my 4 day stay, and looks it has been broken down for a while).
Improve the breakfast menu (no fresh food at all, no fruit or yogurt or any hot item, all cheap, unhealthy foods)
Extend breakfast hours (8:00 to 10:00 only)
Fix power outlet by the bed (broke, will not hold charger)

Quieter than the properties on Lombard, but poorly managed. Internet was out for a day and the manager did not seem to care. Office was empty even during daytime hours and no one answered the phone. Power outlets in my room were blocked such that a phone or laptop charger could not be plugged in to almost any of them. Housekeeping took away used towels but did not replace them on 2 nights.

Honestly, its an older motel so the walls are a bit thin. I woke up due to the people next door being loud but for the price WITH PARKING cant be beat. I would stay again without a second guess

Parking was easy and checking in was fast. The property is quiet and was fine for a night in town. Our room was nice but had an older building smell. I like the vintage style of this place. Breakfast was just cereal or packaged pastries.

Mattress was as old as the hotel and caved in on the middle. Breakfast did not start till 8 and it was a mad rush to get what was there. Parking and location was good, long walk to the Peir 39 area but doable.

Our room was by the road so it was very noisy. Especially at 4 am. Curtains in our room were shredded and should be replaced. Other than that it was a good stay.

Its a traditional 60's style motel.its a bit tired, but rooms all clean, safe and the staff brillusbt, Nik and his wife could do enough. Great value. Fab restaurant right opposite! Plenty of parking. All good.

Motel was in a good location. Motel matched it's 2 star rating, however bed was well past it's use by date, creaky and somewhat uncomfortable.

Ordered a sandwich, came out wrong, mentioned it was wrong, they said they would correct it, came out wrong again. Decided to eat it anyway because.....why wait over 15 minutes for a sub to be made correct on a 30 min lunch break?

Not bad, I just think it needs a bigger dine in lobby. Way to small and overcrowded. It's noisy as hell to on the weekends. I felt my claustrophobia setting in for a good minute and no I'm not overreacting. Pizza was good though.

Pizza was really good. Not giving 5 stars only bc system screwed up and I'd waited the hr before calling to see what was going on, then had to wait another hour to get it. Was offered a salad but didn't get that either but I'm not upset about it. Just hit the spot after driving all day. May grab more before I leave town.

Best Gluten-Free crust ever! Kinda on the pricey side but it's the biggest GF pizza you'll ever get! The quality of it is fantastic too. Love this pizza joint!

Never order from this place! They are racist and highly unprofessional. I used to go almost everyday and they had the audacity to bring up something that I couldn't control. I've seen it happen with other customers that are white and they simply smile and let it slide. The one time that an African American woman does it, they treat me as if I'm not human and my money has no value. NEVER EAT HERE. Not to mention that the place could use a good scrubbing inside as it's very dingy.

Ordered kung pao chicken, chicken & broccoli, rice, lo mein and dumplings. All were pretty bland and lacking in meat. Delivery was fast and friendly.

Good home-style chinese. Basic stuff but clean and better fresher ingredients than most Chinese places. They're won ton is very well done.

It is so sad, Perry's is one of those SF institutions that you want to love, but this place is in serious need of a reboot.
Choose a different brunch place, there are plenty nearby.

This is my 'go-to' eatery near my home and Perry's never fails. Even the Perry's at SFO airport is consistently good. This Union Street location is the original one and hasn't changed a bit since it opened probably forty years ago. The blue-checkered table cloth space offers generous-sized drinks, a few sidewalk tables, a rowdy bar area and a quieter back room. It's a place to feel at home, be seen, see neighbors or enjoy a quieter visit in the back, all the while the long-term, professional staff does their unobtrusive work making sure you are well taken care of ... these guys have it down.

A SF Classic. Stil has "it"- love the lucnh menu and the service is great. We had the most attractive Irish lass who was very smart and charming. Loved the portions, quality and bar scene.

Stopped in at Perry's for a meal based on the reviews and rating. The bar atmosphere was pleasant. Loud but that is expected. 3 of the 4 meals were good. Don't recommend the penne pasta as it was oily and flavorless. The real problem was when I paid for my half of the meals with cash. Placing a $50 & $20 in the folder for the $47 bill and expecting small change to sort out a tip, I was told that I only paid $40 instead. I tried to insist that I gave a $50 (which I remember needing to separate from the other new 50s) with a $20. The waiter insisted no and with no way to verify this I was left with no option but to pay extra. Use credit cards when you dine there folks. it is easier to monitor so you don' t get ripped off.
