Very average conditions, low-end motel level

We booked the room on 08/01/2025. We came to check in they told us to wait for 30 minutes to get the room ready. We waited 1 hour and came back to ask for the room. They told us there is no room available. They canceled our reservation and it was 9:30 PM. We could not make at any reservation that late. We knew nothing around San Jose. We were really scared and frustrated. After driving 5 hotels and luckily we got a room(expensive, unsafe and not clean) from another hotel. We have to take it for the night. Horrible.

Do not be fooled by their photos. The sink was was filled with black sewage water, mold everywhere, horrible smell, and they offered no solutions. Save your family from a tragic experience and avoid Uptown Oasis San Jose (motel) at all cost. This place is complete trash.

Booked in a week in advance for the Morgan Wallen concert when I got here, my room was not available. They were offering me other rooms. Managers was not in sight. There’s for adults we had to settle for a king size bed two of us had to sleep on the floor Horrible stay if you’re coming for a concert I recommend you not come here book 30 minutes out.

Avoid at All Costs – Filthy, Dishonest, and Rude Staff

I stayed one night at the Uptown Oasis Airport Hotel in San Jose and it was more than enough. This place is an absolute scam disguised as a budget hotel.

The grounds are disgusting. Leaves, dead flies, pollen, and even dead bees were floating in both the pool and hot tub. The floors of both were visibly grimy—even from a distance. The carpeted walkways are filthy, and it’s clear there’s no groundskeeper on staff. Roaches roam freely, and the rooms have no main lighting—just multiple weak lamps, most of which barely work. The only halfway decent area is the lobby, which is clearly where all their maintenance budget goes.

Now let’s talk about the $20 “stained towel” scam. I was charged $20 after checkout with zero explanation—when I called, I was told a towel had “blood stains.” This is an outright lie. I was there for just one night, and there was no such incident. I suspect this is a regular tactic they use to make a little extra cash off unsuspecting guests. Watch your final bill carefully.

When I called to dispute the charge, I spoke with Priscilla, who may be the single worst customer service rep I’ve ever encountered. She picked up the phone breathing heavily, immediately had an attitude, and told me to “be quiet and listen.” When I pushed back, she accused me of “making a big deal out of nothing” (her exact words), and told me she was going to refund me but wouldn’t now—just because I stood up for myself. Completely unprofessional, unhelpful, and clearly not trained for hospitality.

This hotel is dirty, disorganized, and deceptive. The staff are rude, the rooms are dimly lit and worn down, and the charges are dishonest. Don’t let the word “Oasis” fool you—this place is more like a desert of disappointment.

Save yourself the headache. Spend your money elsewhere.
