The Cabanas Guesthouse & Spa in Fort Lauderdale

my partner and I travel to Ft. Lauderdale, from Orlando, two to three times a year; and the Cabanas is and for years has been our favorite place to stay. The guesthouses are so well presented and clean, the staff is beyond friendly and always willing to go out of their way to make sure every guest is treated exactly the way they themselves would want to be treated when on a vacation/retreat in a tropical paradise. That brings me to the next topic I must mention: the lush landscaping. Before you even enter the privacy gate (which itself is a great feature) the gorgeous palms and other flowering and fruiting trees, shrubs, and vines all demand respect as part of the romantic and relaxing, fun and exciting, all-inclusive miniature resort. There are even orchids attached to various tree trunks and nestled into corners of the gardens everywhere. These gardens, which are very well established, are also an integral part of the necessary privacy needed for a clothing-optional resort.
As you pull through the privacy gate, you are pulling right into the "cozy" parking lot. it is small, however even when the guesthouses are all occupied, you can find a spot. In the center of the parking lot is the main pool and pool deck. It is absolutely picturesque an has all the amenities one would expect at this resort's pool. The guesthouses themselves are just across the small parking lot I just mentioned. The guesthouse in the very center is the hotel office as well as the breakfast nook. Breakfast is complimentary every morning and in my opinion is a nice, healthy selection of food. There is a second pool, a hot tub, to the left and just past the office cabana. It has a very secluded, romantic feeling... perfect for this resort! a few steps further to the left beyond the hot tub is a Spa, which is separate from the guesthouses but still part of The Cabanas. It offers everything that a luxury spa would: but being that it is a separate building and listing on Google Maps, I've left a separate review of the Spa itself along with the 5-star rating that it deserves... just as the Guesthouses of the Cabanas!
Each one of our stays over the years has been unique and memorable in their own way, and I firmly believe the place gets better every year.
I would recommend this place to any of our friends looking for a relaxing yet fun and exciting resort to stay at while visiting Ft. Lauderdale.

Quiet place with very nice pool and hot tub. Friendly atmosphere and nice location with secure parking

Nice place to chill out as a guest or simply with a day pass! Place is clean and the staff is very friendly! Rooms are nice and clean!

Always great staff spa is awesome. Jimmy is the best. Great mani pedis. Grounds are well kept clean and yes it is close to all the bars.
