I booked this condo sight unseen on the internet with Naomi Bennet of Maui Coast Condos. It was the best! Decorated like a surfer's apartment right down to the shower curtain hooks. Used a surf board as the hall table when you come in. Lovely Living Room and eat in area with a galley kitchen fully furnished with everything you would need if you wanted to cook. We only did snacks and breakfast. We had Unit 148 Building 6 which was right across from the laundry and the pool. Lovely little patio. They provided extra towels, beach towels, suntan lotion, beach chairs - you name it. Met them while we were there and they are very nice people that take great pride in what they do. I would highly recommend these condos (she has four) the location is great and they are very reasionably priced. It is right across the street from the Kamoale Sands Beach (great walking path along the water) and there are two restuarants right there; Fred's Mexican Cafe and the Greek Bistro. They are in the process of opening a little store right there as well and a Moose McGillicuddys. Thanks Naomi - we loved it!!!

If you’re looking to go to the beach everyday and walk into the town to eat, this is a great place to stay. We did not use the pool but it looked nice. The location is great and if you’re not planning to travel around the island, you don’t need a car here. The rooms are fine, don’t need much when you barely spend anytime in the room on vacation. Lots of parking near our unit, easy to check in, bbqs worked as they should.

I found this spot by luck when searching for hotels in south Kihei area. I am so happy I did! We stayed in Building 12, room 336. This building is directly across from the pool and the room is on the 3rd floor. There are no elevators so be prepared to carry your luggage up flights of stairs. Our room was a 1 bedroom with a wall bed and sofa bed in the living area. Small patio with some chairs and everything you need for a beach vacation - beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards, fins, snorkel mask. They also had the basic supplies needed to make a meal - olive oil, salt pepper, etc. We didn’t do any cooking as we wanted to experience all the local foods but I did make myself yogurt with fruit breakfast every morning. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need. Even Tupperware to bring fresh cut pineapple to the beach! There’s an automatic ice maker in the freezer which came in handy. King bed was comfortable and although there is A/C, we never used it. Just the rotating fan was all we needed. Their water heats up fast and the condo was very clean with cute decor. Use the doorstops provided! The cross wind can cause the bedroom door to slam shut otherwise. Amazing location. Located directly across from a popular, family friendly beach, this condo was also in walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Again, I’m so happy I stumbled across this location.

We’ve stayed at the Kihei Kai Nani 4 times over 30 years. It’s been 26 years since we were last in Maui, and specifically staying at the Kihei Kai Nani condo. Now I’ll stay positive because there still is lots here that are really positive. #1 it has the largest pool in the whole Kihei area! This pool and the surrounding grounds are practically unchanged from our last stay 26 years ago. I mean that as a good thing. The pool was exactly as we remembered it. It was clean and well maintained. Always a lounge chair to relax on. The condos themselves, are all different. As they are owned individually and are rented out privately or from a rental pool. We liked being at the back of the complex, it was quieter. It was a further walk to the pool or beach but it’s a trade off of what you want. We once stayed next to the pool, that can be noisy with the gate to the pool constantly being opened and closed and all the walk by traffic. But hey if you’ve got younger children being by the pool is a better option. We liked the close proximity to the main shopping in Kihei, we could walk to our favourite stores. The Hawaiian Moons Health Food store was right next door. We are not normally health food store shoppers. But we found local strawberry papaya and local avocado and local oranges and even organic beef ( hamburger meat ) here perfect for the bbqs located free to use at the condo. Their prices were actually quite fair compared to other places. Even saw locals buying here. Also the ABC store up the road had great hot take out food to go, really authentic cuisine for a good price, again saw many locals buying the hot food to go. Also there is a bus transit now running through Kihei, $1.00 each way if you’re 60 or older or it’s $2,00. We even rode this bus to Lahaina for a grand total of $4.00 return each the year before it burnt down. We took the bus to the local Safeway to buy groceries for less money than in the tourist area of Kihei. 15 min bus ride or less $2.00 return trip. That gave us a chance to load up on groceries. We opted to not rent a car as at that time car rentals were really high. We ran into more people doing the same thing or using Uber etc. 15min walk to Starbucks to get a latte and walk over to the beach to watch the sea turtles or the Humpback whales breaching was better than driving around and missing this stuff. We liked it in Kihei, still has the charm. Even after 30 years!

The view from our condo couldn't be bettered...it looked directly onto the beach and ocean. The balcony was big enough to easily accommodate 4 people. The only criticism would be that there was a certain lack of privacy if 2 couples were sharing because there was only a screen separating the master bedroom from the main condo and balcony which meant that the aircon didn't reach the bedroom when the screen was in position.

Amazing property and staff. This is a paradise destination. Make sure to book excursions with activities lady(Tracey).
She is the best in the business.

I would definitely stay here again. One of the few properties actually on the beach. Quiet, clean, and great staff. The room was well stocked with cooking supplies. Definitely check out the fitness and yoga centers here also. You really cannot beat the patio views from this resort. Can't wait to go back!

This resort is absolutely beautiful. We went in August 2021 and had an upper level suite that was so spacious with beautiful views of the beach. We returned in August 2022 and had a small studio on the other side of the resort with a partial ocean view. Neither times were we disappointed with this place. The entire resort is well kept and clean, staff are friendly and welcoming, and the beach is a 30 second walk from the lobby. We plan to stay here again every time we visit Maui.
The only thing we were a little disappointed with this time was that the bar at the Resort was gone, which is where my fiance proposed to me the year before. But it looked like they were in the process of putting in another restaurant/bar.
All around amazing and beautiful place that I would hands down recommend to anyone looking to go visit Maui.
