I did come review the Hyatt mostly because I wanted to hype up the breakfast/dinner lounge. If you’re able to, I recommend it. I know you have to pay extra for it but in my opinion it was worth it

The breakfast is simple but delicious. Their coffee is amazing and you can get expressos anytime of the day. Their dinners are supposed to be appetizers but they could counted as full meals

We had ocean view room booked on floor 5. Even when you don’t wanna leave your room, you can enjoy sunset from your balcony. They have 3-4 pools, waterfalls for adults only pool, those cute flamingos in the lobby

I chose this hotel after deliberating among several near Black Rock, and the pool was large and excellent. There were also shopping streets and restaurants nearby, making dining convenient

Such a beautiful property, a little on the higher end but if you want to have a really good vibe it’s worth every penny. Right next to whalers market, beautiful beaches next to it

How could people sleep? Finally, after communicating with the front desk receptionist again and again, the problem was solved! It was not Ctrip customer service who helped me solve the problem! Remind guests who book overseas hotels that if you have any requirements for the room, it is best to communicate with Ctrip customer service by phone to confirm it! ! !

The restaurants onsite are great and give you a large option of choices, all great tasting. There are 3 swimming pool areas giving you an option for loud and fun and also quiet and calm

Fantastic pool for kids (waterslide, basketball hoop), nice amenities (kids loved the snow cones), great location for getting to Lanai. Beach accessible, stunning sunsets. Walkable to great restaurants

We have been going to this resort for years and every year we love it! The service is impeccable from the moment you step into the lobby. The rooms are a good size and very clean

They offer great BBQ areas to cook if you don't want to purchase food at their restaurants. The staff that works at the resort are wonderful, helpful and friendly

The property is perfectly situated on the Kaanapaali beach, giving you easy access to the beach. The resort is also a close drive to nearby Lahaina

Every time we go back there are more than a few staff members that remember us which makes you feel right at home. Can't wait to get back there!!

The kids loved the pool, the game room, and the giant chess board. They also have a luau at the hotel and free activities on certain days. They have a parking garage, but they charge a daily fee

We were fortunate to get upgraded to an ocean\beach view with a nice balcony. A solitaire Hawaiian Monk Seal liked to sleep just steps away on the beach

Each evening they have a cliff diver and a beautiful sunset (given weather). Snorkeling and swimming areas a short walk from rooms. Room service was prompt for a few items

The hotel staff was extremely accommodating especially Evelyn who really went above and beyond to make our stay great! When they found we would not be able to check into our assigned room early they ended up upgrading us to a suite for the length of our stay at no extra cost and we were able to check in for that room by 10 AM! On top of this the view from both our room and the lobby were just outstanding

My husband tagged along as well and spent most of his time golfing at the golf course adjacent to the hotel which was well maintained and really convenient! But we had the absolute best stay

There was a cliff diving show every night off of Black Rock. They also had live music down by the pool every evening

Rooms had some smell and are on the older side. Breakfast not really up to standard for top hotel, beach is far from hotel. Location is a bit far from everything. We had 2 rooms and each room was in another building

They have tubs and separate showers, too. The grounds are immaculate with loungers by the many pools. There is a special area for the children - a pirate ship pool and a quiet pool for those trying to de-stress

Marvin was super friendly and offered other pools open and took time to introduce himself to my kids! Wow. Willy and Tyrone and Aqualani were super friendly and instinctively offered pool toys to our kids

This beautiful resort on the beach is outstanding in every respect. The villas are truly complete with all the necessities of home - kitchens, washer/dryers, excellent living spaces and comfy, cosy bedrooms

Our first night, we were assigned to the 3rd floor, which had those annoying cockroaches we often see! Later that night, we contacted the hotel and were moved to the 12th floor, which was truly terrifying

A high floor is a must! The hotel is located in Lahaina, a 5-minute drive from restaurants like ABC, so you don't have to worry about breakfast. There's also a pharmacy nearby

But one important thing: you absolutely must stay on a high floor, preferably above the 10th

The beach was just after the pool and the other shops near reception were very handy. The Luau was nice with a surprise upgrade in seats and was an interesting performance

My husband and I spent the greater part of our honeymoon here and it was well spent! It’s very close to Front Street, has a beautiful private beach and great service. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience

No restaurant on site but a small but efficient kitchen doing take away orders. Fortunately a grocery store across the street. Our previous trip the beach had eroded away and risked damaging the pool area

The room was extremely spacious, perfect for a vacation. The hotel's location was excellent, making it convenient to go anywhere. The only downside was that the shower faucet was a bit flimsy.

In general I'd note there was a lot of kids and families, but that may have been heightened due to the holiday week. Staff was curious and engaged. Overall a great location and great stay!

The room was good, the bathroom in our particular units is difficult to get in and out of, so if you have mobility issues it’ll be a struggle. The hotel is clean and very nice

You can walk to Whalers Village to shop and eat. Several restaurants you can walk to. Black Rock is a short walk to watch cliff jumpers. They charged us twice for deposit

One negative of the pool is that the hotel staff does not enforce the "no reserving spots" People put their towels and bags on chairs before 8AM and don't even show up to the pool until hours later

I watched one woman put towels across two chairs in the shade and then another four chairs in the sun. How is that fair to the rest of the guests? And the hotel staff does nothing to stop this

This hotel was nice for our week's trip to Maui. The suite was nice with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. It was nice to have a large pool right outside and close access to the beach

They give as many towels as you want. Another negative is the food at this resort. The Beach Walk Kau Kau To Go food was fine, but nothing spectacular

The service was slow - we were ignored for almost a half an hour before we were even offered a drink. I ordered the filet mignon but what I got was a sirloin at best

A nice advantage was it was within walking distance to Whaler's Village where you can find stores and restaurants. It has a nice open air mall atmosphere

The rooms were older, but very clean. The property was absolutely stunning, and the beach was clean. For the most part, staff was very pleasant. We encountered a few who were a bit grumpy, but not an issue

We loved the beautiful accommodations and well-appointed full kitchen! The beach front resort offers snorkeling on site, free beach chairs & towels and a nice variety of pools too! On site Sea House restaurant was amazing and staff was so friendly and helpful! Be sure to check out the stunning coastal walkway that begins at the edge of the resort! We’ll definitely be back!

Staff was great and very responsive as we had broken hair dryer and leaking toilet with water on floor, both were fixed immediately and staff was great from front desk to cleaning, to sea house, wonderful stay

Parking spaces are very tight! Restaurant has an amazing happy hour which we visited three times in a week! It served as our lunch. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful

We saw turtles, seals (super lucky to see since they are endangered) and dolphins from our balcony. All the staff was very nice and helpful. The only negative is the bathroom in our unit needed an upgrade

The villa was very clean and close to the rest of my family that was staying in a bay villa across the street (a 3 minute drive)

Room was great. Only thing is that we are used to a gas oven, so we did not know how to use the electric oven.

When we came back for the day, the ice maker was leaking and towels were stuffed in the tray and on the floor. Don't know what to think about that. So I guess we are using earplugs tonight

The location on Napili beach (swimming, snorkeling) is perfect. But Napili is far from everything on the island. The studio we rented was ok, but the price was way too high

Lovely hotel with several building surrounding pool. Direct access to a sheltered cove with good snorkeling and small waves. The room was very comfortable with a small kitchen area

We loved the ocean view studio unit! Loved how the doors folded open to make the balcony feel like part of the room. The AC unit our first night did not work and had to be completely reworked

You can see turtles swimming near the beach and further afar lots of whales from December to March. Hotel have many swimming pools (and one fun slide) but only like 3ft deep so good for kids but a bit boring for adults

Only one restaurant, it's Duke. And one small shop selling Starbucks coffee. Our unit was on 10th floor in the main building and had a big balcony with a beautiful view on West Maui Mountain

The dryer in this specific unit would not dry the clothes! We tried every setting!  Overall loved the unit and location but a few things could have made it a 5 star stay!

Very nice hotel right on the beach but lots of rocks there therefore have to walk a bit to get to a part of the beach with no rocks

Friendly staff!! Rooms were big and kitchen was stocked well!! Grounds were very well kept!! Parking is in a parking garage and you have to walk to your room but they had a very nice gentleman in a golf cart carry us and our luggage to our room!! Would definitely stay here every time I come to Maui!!

Washer and dryer great to have in the room. Area had three pools and grills to barbeque if you wanted. We did have a bit of a problem trying to keep the fire going on the grill

The resort also has a Cabana on the beach with full kitchen and towels, beach chairs, and loungers. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained

The unit we were in was well designed for comfort and privacy and was also very well equipped with kitchen utensils. There were plenty of outlets and light sources. We loved sitting on the balcony over looking the beach

very clean and the staff is very accommodating for early check in. the beach is literally walking distance. just keep in mind the airport is an hour away. I enjoyed my stay as a solo traveler

Comfortable condo with an amazing view! Beautiful landscaping, very peaceful, and the lounge chairs on the grassy area are clutch--the tide gets very high at that beach so having the grass so close to the ocean was awesome! Super close to walk to the Sea House restaurant and Honokeana Cove for some snorkeling with the turtles! Love love love!

The one thing I really loved was how close to the beach it is. Less then a 5 minute walk and plenty of places to clean off. Staff was super friendly and informative on nearby locations

Great staff/service, complete facilities (except pool), location is a bit far from the airport but we braved the almost 1. 5hr back to the airport and honestly, it wasn't that bad - it's quite empty coming from North

We spent five nights in a classic studio and absolutely loved it! The complex is small with a private lawn overlooking the ocean, and fairly easy beach access in spite of the stairs being unavailable during our stay

We were on the lower level which made it easy to come and go. We had an almost private patio with the exception of people staying in two other ground floor units occasionally walking by to access the lawn and beach

Each condo is privately owned so furnishings will vary. Our unit was comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. The condo was clean upon our arrival and housekeeping is provided every third night

Hale Napili is a short walk from Sea House, Gazebo, Kapalua Coastal Trail, and the Slack Key Show. Napili Market and more restaurants are a mile away. The office is only staffed during business hours

We truly appreciated the complimentary beach gear (towels, chairs, umbrella, floats, and noodles), which added significant value to our stay. The small, private nature of Hale Napili is a major draw

I stayed in the orchid room and it was Quiet, clean and serene. I would stay again for certain! Very comfy bed, cool vintage refrigerator and there were also beach towels, utensils/cookware , etc available for use

Such a wonderful place to stay! We were in the Jasmine suite for our honeymoon. On arrival, we were welcomed with a bottle of champagne, tour of the room, and superb suggestions for places to eat/things to do

The room is also full of screened windows, so you still get to feel the fresh Hawaiian breeze even when inside! Lastly, we had a cozy patio where we stored our bikes (rentals) and ate breakfast

I stayed here during the Maui Marathon in 2015. The room is large and the area is quiet, perfect for my post run relaxation.

The pictures are much nicer than in person. The blankets were as thin as an average bath towel. The ac blows DIRECTLY on you so I slept upside-down in a hoodie every night

Just about everything we needed was there. The in-room washer/ dryer was a bonus. Nice size room with fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher. The was also private parking which is a bonus in Kapalua

The setup was great for us. We were Three so the extra bathroom was great, and the kitchen lacked for nothing !!! And having a washer/dryer was the BOMB !!!

Bed was comfy enough, and it felt more like an apartment than a hotel…very spacious The downside was general room cleanliness upon arrival (you could feel the sand on the sheets and on your feet if you walked barefoot before we even went to the beach on our first day)

We were also traveling with an infant/young toddler and were offered virtually no accommodations but knew this prior to rental. Overall, a great value for one of the most pristine areas on the island
