Next morning as winter made a cold comeback we were served a hot breakfast. Hotel made a convenient base of operations as we tootled around Carmel. Extra towels? No problem. Room cleaning request? No problem. Observed a colorful sunset from the 9th floor hallway. 2nd night Kickback definitely had more families attending, kids being kids all having a good time. (I'll bet the pool got a workout)
Overall a good visit, I'd stay here again.
The freebies that come with your stay here are so accommodating to struggling parents with multiples. Feeding 3 mouths here is a breeze with free breakfast AND FREE DINNERS. Like I cant stress that enough. And their kickback program for the adults is ridiculously thoughtful as well. The staff is over the top happy all the time, which helps if your crying about loved ones in the hospital near by like i was/still am. The lobby is beautiful and always clean. Usually the rooms are too but for some reason this time my king suite bathroom was NOT properly cleaned and I had to run and grab cleaning supplies to clean it from top to bottom before letting my children in there and pillows and blankets in the double queen suite I was in previously smelled like something old, musky or smokey i don't know but I had to go grab air freshners for that too. But I understand not every stay especially a long one like this is going to be perfect. Still worth it to book here over everywhere else.
Very central to several areas of the city, and not really affected by the construction and road updating that is going on.
The staff was always very pleasant and respectful.
