Always wanted to visit New Orleans and we stayed at the La Belle Maison. Location was great and staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a kitchenette in our room, and the overall room was extremely spacious. Sadly, grocery store was a few blocks away so make sure you don't need much from there. Also, you must valet park and it is expensive and our bathroom had an exhaust fan that would not turn off. The hotel does have a very nice sauna/fitness center and small pool to enjoy. Overall we had a pleasant experience and would stay again.

Wyndham hotel and other companies associating with them are aiming for nothing more than scamming you out of every penny possible. Their main objective is to sell you any form of time share with hidden stipulations in the print. They are pushy, and rude upon being denied. We had one of their “consultants” try to pick a fight after being waved off. Horrible business I would not suggest going here OR ANY OTHER WYNDHAM HOTELS. Do not trust their “gifts” as these are about as good of a gift you can get as AIDS.

We visited New Orleans for 2 days on a cruise in March 2026 from the UK. Outside the cruise port in Riverview Mall there was an Information stand. We went to find out about the city as it was our first visit. Turned out this was not tourist info it was manned by timeshare Wyndham staff. After guaranteeing us both a city tour and a Mississippee cruise on a Paddle Steamer we paid a significant payment for the two trips. Neither trip was actually available. We were cheated out of our money. Wyndham guaranteed us a full refund but now will not respond to emails and will not refund. Avoid Wyndham representatives in New Orleans at all costs... you will lose your money and will not get your promised trips. We wasted over a quarter of our short time in the city with them and are $108 out of pocket. Shocking company. Do not be fooled by them.

Horrible experience. We were out right lied to regarding the utilization of the 400,00 point package. We were not allowed to read the contracting documents at the onset. We were told that there printer at the location was not working. We took there word for it and completed the docusign forms on their tablet. After the fact we were able to review the document and it did not reflect what we were told we were purchasing. Subsequently, we reached out to the regional sales manager and he stated he understood and would have the charges reversed. He lied. The charges were not reversed and now I am have to address this legally. Terrible organization. I would stay away. Steve

We liked the location. It was clean and up to date. The front desk was great, but the RCI person was a bit rude.

la Belle Maison has a good location in the French Quarter. It was a second time staying there. This time we gott off to a very bad start with a room mixup on their part which cost us a night's stay in the correct room and hours of my talking snd complaining to people there that we were not being given what we had been promised. After 24 hours, they grudgingly corrected their mistake. On other matters, such as restaurant guidance and getting a cab for us, they were helpful.

Enjoyed my stay for my first visit to New Orleans. Centrally located, a quick walk to the French Quarter, and easy access to the trolley line. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Wish we had a window to the outside but the balcony interior view was equally nice. Staff was attentive and helpful and we loved all the activities and goodies available during the week. Will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at LaBelle Maison . Location is excellent walking distance to most everything , by the trolly and across the street from Ruby Slippers best brunch around . Staff is so nice here , valet was excellent anytime you needed your car and loved the King Cake they gave out front with New Orleans Coffee. We also loved the Sauna and Gym . We had the best time !!

I would highly recommend this hotel. We had a 1 bedroom suite, which fit all 4 of us nicely. The bed was very comfortable, as was the sofa bed. Kitchenette was adequate, for a simple light breakfast - no cooking. The bathroom was nice & large, super clean too And very importantly, it was in a great location - near the heart of French Quarter, good food readily available .. we walked to Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, etc very easily. As an added bonus - there is complimentary coffee on Level 2 in the mornings daily, complimentary popcorn daily, complimentary washer & dryer. Absolutely perfect!

Some staff were nice. Food not seasoned at all as all the other good New Orleans restaurants. Red beans and Rice and gumbo is like a soup. You would think they’re cooking for a retirement home or nursing home because of the non flavor. Ham was the only decent flavored item. Have had much better in NOLA. Wouldn’t recommend anyone for anything here.

I really don't get the hype of this place. We had multiple people recommend this to us. We went for breakfast and I got the traditional breakfast. I asked for my eggs over medium and they were barely over easy. The grits were flavorless. The ham was amazing. I most disappointed by the biscuit. It was super dense and also flavorless. The service was meh.

Excellent food, old style cafeteria food, red beans and rice, and ham is savory and delicious. Family friendly and clean. Don't worry about the line it goes fast. I could eat at Mother's everyday. Old style service takes time but the people are so nice. Great place to watch sports. Big tables in the back are great for groups.

This place was fantastic. Huge portions and truly authentic food. Not fancy, but awesome atmosphere. Our server was super pleasant and e of us ate til we were stuffed for 45.00. Yum! Can't wait to go back.

Came around 8:45 on a Sunday. Line was not long, but we still had one of our group hold a table for us. Ordering was super efficient and easy. I got the baked ham dinner with 3 sides and it was amazing. Way too much food for me to eat in one sitting. Table service for drink refills and anything you might need. Would absolutely go again.

Keep your receipt! It's how they know what to bring you!

It's pricey here but the Chicken christopher and the spinach and mushrooms was great. I just ask that they remember next time to bring that delicious bread out after I order And refill my water.

The hostess Sheila was great. She was courteous and professional. However our server treated us very poorly.

When asking for the food menu the server's response was crass,"That's because I didn't get it yet." We were served tea but waited no less than 20minutes to place our appetizer order. He then left us for a significant amount of time such that 2 other servers had to help my partner and I while Josh was nowhere to be found.

When we were finally able to order our food we had to get service from another 2 persons who noticed that we were sitting there abandoned waiting for the food.

Ordered a bottle of wine to have with our steak and that did not come until AFTER our food was served. I asked for the wine before dinner. Isn't that normal with a bottle?

I did however leave a 20% tip just in case the poor service was in fear of no tip from us.

Differently a bit pricey but still great food

Ordered a “medium” bone-less rib-eye, got a steak that so well done it could of only come from a straight A cow!

While waiting on my meal, my entertainment for the evening was watching the cook play on his phone the entire time I was there. One can only assume he was attempting the latest high score or keeping his many Facebook followers up to date on his latest culinary disaster.

The waiter was attentive at first, but after the main course was served he was harder to locate than Waldo! Someone, I can only assume was the manager because they never introduced themselves, asked how the meal was. My coworker was able to answer but I mid bite, and raised with good manners, was unable to respond. The ability of staff to vanish at this restaurant is astounding as the manager vanished just as quickly as the waiter.

If you care about good steaks cooked right, and staff that do their jobs you are better off finding another steakhouse. Morton’s at 6:30pm is not busy there was no reason any of this should of happened other than staff that simply don’t care. If they don’t than you really should take your business to better steakhouses in New Orleans.

loud and crowded. Occupied tables all clustered together. Asked waiter to move us, which he declined to do. Then asked manager to move us, which he did. Waiter made sure he made snide comments about that. Took forever to get drinks, steaks overcooked. Pet peeve - places that won't seat you until whole party is present. Etc. Won't go back. It's New Orleans. Why am I eating at a chain restaurant?

Food was very good. Nice size portions couldn't finish my plate. Wife had an appy that was large enough for her dinner. And waitress (Allison) was best one we had since being here. Would recommend to anyone!

Went to Gospel Brunch my first missing in the city. A lot of the seats they're charging for have very very limited views. I had a fun brunch overall, and the music sounded great, but I couldn't see a thing. The buffet was hit and miss, some great stuff in there like the fried chicken, the mac and cheese, and the biscuits (oh god the biscuits). The real charmer here were the endless mimosas. A good touristy experience, ultimately felt a little cheap but I still had a good time and left with no regrets. I imagine the people sitting up front had a better time.

Pretty typical for a House of Blues, but I tend to like each House of Blues I've visited. This one has a beautiful, historic courtyard, and the interior is cool too. Fun bartender, even if he didn't know much about the beer list. Tasty food and mixed drinks. Seriously good music from Jason Bishop too!
14.10.2017 Shawn
The intricate layout is not confusing, but it is fun! It's a big venue and one of the best house of blues locations in my opinion. The artwork on the walls is interesting and modern, with a nod to the past. The media played on the TV's and put on stage all fit the aesthetic of whatever show is happening which is really cool. The bar was a little slow but it was understandable because a lot of people wanted drinks. I had a great night and would definitely attend another show.

Went to the Gospel Brunch. My wife and I agree: This was the best brunch either if us had ever eaten. Think "Cruise Ship Quality "
The music program was authentic "Black Gospel" We're definitely going back next time we're in NOLA on a Sunday.
