very relaxed hotel with a bar and all the employees I met were just good people The front doors lock at night so you need to have a room card to enter which I thought was good for security purposes
The staff were very friendly. Although we arrived early, they kept our luggage until we were done with the conference. Rooms were clean, and staff were helpful throughout our stay.
#positive #I was happy with the Convenience of transport, Mosquito control measures, Hotel Smell, Bed comfort level, Value for money; The location of the hotel is very good, within 10 walks from Bourbon Street, the room is big and clean and comfortable to live in, but the service at the front desk is not very friendly
com help facilitate the process of moving to another room, but it took me two days so it was initially unpleasant
There's also no safe, no closets (instead of closets, there are a couple of hangers on the wall). There's no sink in the bathroom; the sink is in the room with the bed
Without a doubt best hotel staff I have ever had. I mistakenly left my wallet and they were very helpful throughout the process of getting back. The manager, John, was especially helpful. Highly recommend staying here!

Head the other and you have a combination of high priced and affordable art galleries and shops. If you like a great dive bar a block from Erin Rose. If you like upscale and fancy hit bars like the Carousel Bar
The rooms were clean and well cared for. Staff was always friendly and helpful and the location was just perfect 1/2 a block from bourbon Street and within walking distance of most attractions downtown.
An older hotel of course but well maintained and taken care of. The hotel is in a prime location right beside bourbon street. Because of this it can be loud at night, which didn’t bother us too much
Location, location, location! Rooms were clean and great for the price. You are in the heart of Bourbon Street area. Walking distance to public transportation. Head one way and you have night life
The staff was very nice, and the housekeeping was excellent. All problems with our room were promptly solved. This was a great place to stay in the French quarter near Bourbon Street
Clean rooms, excellent desk service (including Pierre), and the location is wonderful.

Parfait! Everything was perfect! nice hotel, nice rooms, nice pool... Frankie greeted us like a VIP, he was very attentive and friendly, gave us a lot of good recommendations! 10/10 it was great!
Great location, lovely modern spacious rooms and fantastic staff - those at reception and at the bar were awesome
Lovely courtyard to sit in when the weather’s good and you can walk from the hotel to nearly everywhere you want to go. The king beds are big and comfy
Everything was nice about the room. Very clean. The restaurant there was absolutely amazing. The food was perfect. The girls were very professional and lovely to talk to. Thank you.
Very expensive and hoity toity but if you can afford it then it’s worth it. I had trouble ordering room service and getting ahold of the front desk by phone.
Central location, top marks for amenities We were absolutely elated about staying here. The best location in all of the French quarter. Super close to everything but not in a loud area

The only con was hearing the drunk people coming from their cars looking for their rooms or accidentally setting their car alarms off…I also did not like the fact I had to call down and get more towels and our room wasn’t serviced the whole time we were here
I really love how beautiful and clean the hotel was! I know some people mentioned room service had skipped cleaning their rooms while we were waiting at the desk to get a room (multiple people)
We tried it out because we were tired and the service was really nice. I like the painting and aesthetic a lot. I would probably come back if I end up back in town
Great spot ,atmosphere terrific friendly folks in the area ,interstate very close which makes bourbon street near close on the city that never sleeps
I rated four stars for the value. It is surprisingly descent breakfast better than what they say on their website. One thing I did not like, I can smell pot from people smoking by the parking the moment we arrived
I read the reviews and I was a little scared based off that and when I got there it was the complete opposite. My room was clean I didn’t have no bugs of any kind the staff was great

The Natchez, New Orleans1 / 30

New Orleans, 530 Natchez St (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Pool: Pool
This place has the benefits of an AirBnb with your own laundry and kitchen, but with the benefits of a hotel too, with great front desk service, coffee and tea bar downstairs, and no clean up necessary
Booked two suites across from each other for my bachelor party and it couldn't have been more perfect! We loved having the hot tub so accessible and all amenities were modern and updated
They helped us facilitate a grocery order and even are shipping a package to us that we missed. Location is great and walkable to the quarter. So grateful for Natchez suites!
I have to say my stay was great outside of hurricane IDA running us away. The Natchez offered us to stay and ride out the hurricane and they gave us honest feedback on what to expect
The Natchez was the best lodging for our group. We had three couples so we each had a bedroom and bathroom. We were in room 2204, we had a nice gathering area in the kitchen
The staff was so friendly and the apartments were so great for friends having their own space and privacy. The pool area was fun, too! It was the perfect location - right in the middle of it all.

the garden district is definitely where you want to stay and the streetcar runs parallel with the hotel the pool is cute and the breakfast is fresh and yummy :) pretty much 5 star across the board :)
Every one was friendly and helpful. We did struggle a little with the air conditioning ( sometimes too warm sometimes too chilly). We had stayed here before as the hotel is just a few blocks from our daughter’s house
A word about the hotel staff, from the front desk, to the breakfast hostesses, to the maids, to the maintenance workers, to guy with leaf blower in parking lot I bow to you, not one of you failed acknowledge us with a smile and a down home southern greeting – we felt so welcome we felt we were at home
Loved this hotel! The location (gorgeous!), food options (Superior Grill next door), room amenities, layout and how well-cared for everything was. Super friendly front desk personnel, too.
I'm probably a generation or two behind in my comment but breakfast “it was da’ bomb!” Onsite parking was convenient and secure and I never felt the need to worry about my car or my safety
Convenience, location ease of access to local transportation was great. We drove in mid afternoon on Tuesday and didn’t drive it until leaving late Friday afternoon

Leroy is one of the greatest people we met here in NOLA. In an age where good service sometimes falls through the cracks, Leroy went above and beyond for us
Leroy at the front desk was great!!! The cleaning could have been better but it was okay. She made sure we had clean sheets and towels daily. The building needs repairs, like the porch seems like it will collapse soon
If you are expecting modern and perfect- this is not the place for you. But it is what you expect in the French quarter. The courtyard was also very nice. We plan to stay again ! Again, the staff was amazing
This is by far the best place to stay in New Orleans. Leroy is the manager and he’s amazing, a very welcoming host who’s a pleasure to speak with, he went above and beyond to make our stay truly special
This is our 5th visit to NOLA and we finally feel like we found a "home" here at AJH. In addition to the beautiful overall charm of this amazing and historic hotel, the staff absolutely made our stay
Hotel was a little rough around the edges, but we throughly enjoyed our stay here. We ad the king balcony room, which was great for sitting out on at night sipping a red and people watching

The area is not great, which made me nervous at first, however, the hotel is safe. The rooms weren’t too bad, the bed was firm, which isn’t my preference, but it was fine. No bugs. The workers were kind and helpful!
They where renovating when we stayed, the hotel was nice. The pool and hot tub looked nice but if was. Cold when we visited. They workers where very nice.
Not gonna lie from the outside I was a little worried, but it had that old Orleans vibe, inside was redone modern , room was awesome, updated room , bare minimum but they tell no frills , I like it kept it simple
Functional, clean sheets and towels, that's what you're getting at this price point
Parking gate malfunctioned and was closed appropriately one out of the 3 days but they had cameras looking at the entrance Overall recently refreshed. Cant beat the price. Would stay here again without a doubt
The glass door leading to the hotel's parking lot needs to be replaced; it's about to break and could easily cause injury. The room was nice and clean, and there's enclosed parking for safe driving

The staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The bartender at the lobby bar was very friendly and professional. The room was great. The breakfast was amazing . Definitely recommend.
The Mercantile was the perfect place for us to stay. We only had a short visit as I was visiting a friend in Texas. We drove to New Orleans before I had to go back to Vancouver, Canada
We dropped our things off and went off to explore and take as much in (photos, palm trees, culture, music, wine, all the magnificent sights, warm and friendly people) before check out
Property was nice I got the king suite and it was so worth it. Doesn’t have a view of anything but the hot breakfast is real good and rooms are spacious
Great location! Next night I stayed at Marriott on Canal…, totally disappointed…! Didn’t offer 1/2 the positives that Mercantile did
Love the condo style rooms one bedroom Front room with a bar and stereo wall mounted TV. Large room and walk in shower with tub

They forget to replenish towels daily and don't clean the floor. There is definitely a plumbing issue because the water would run extremely hot then cold over and over again each day
-15 min from French Quarter -bathroom needs updating -water only got lukewarm -asked for towels, was told they were in the dryer, would deliver
The hotel was very nice and the staff was great. The only problem was the people staying next to our room. They felt it was appropriate to have a party in the hallway and in there room
The staff was good once they were called
Not really rude, but professionalism should be emphasized. Owners need to fix the elevators, 1 didn't work, the other was very slow. No convenience store in the lobby. No fridge, coffee maker, or microwave in the room
Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, only 1 type of unmarked milk available was the only downside to breakfast. Staff was not very customer oriented

Hotel de L'Eau Vive was a wonderful place to stay! The location was unbeatable—walking distance to everything, which made exploring so easy. Check-in was smooth, and the property felt very secure, which was a huge plus
The room itself was a bit older, as was the elevator, but everything was clean and worked perfectly. The rooms were spacious! What really stood out was the incredibly kind and caring staff at the front desk
They genuinely looked out for our safety and went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and cared for. If you're looking for a convenient and welcoming place to stay, I highly recommend Hotel de L'Eau Vive!
Our unit had a full kitchen and slept six people. The linens and towels smelled devine. What made our stay really special was the friendly and knowledgeable staff, especially Twilla and Derick
What a warm and welcoming staff on all levels. This boutique, historic property is a delight. Location is perfect to walk to activities in the French Quarter and Warehouse District

Hand down best spot in New Orleans if you're on a Budget. One block away from bourbon street and the French Quarter. Decent area that you can walk at night. Close parking Garage that charges $20 a night for parking.
It’s an old building… any building in NOLA that was built prior to 2005, you will have to worry about mold. Luckily, there were no visible signs of mold like others stated, but my allergies were reacting as if there was
We parked in a garage, ate dinner, went to a concert, then got an amazing meal at 1:30am from Cleo’s. The guy at the desk was really nice- offered us champagne upon arrival and donuts upon departure
Depending how long you’re staying and your plans while staying, this could or couldn’t be the place for you. But for the price, location, and our needs it worked :)
We stayed in a 1 bedroom- room 301. Based on reviews, it seems like every room is different. Our bedroom had a full size bed. Not the best (or the worst) mattress
No TV in the bedroom, but there’s a small smart tv in the “living room”. Our room didn’t have a balcony, but there was access to one right outside of our room

In the envelope with our keys was even a special treat for our dog - how sweet! The backyard has a pool and hot tub, a lovely seating area, and even access to a grill
I just stayed at the lookout for three days. The Jacuzzi was perfect. The rooms were very spacious and clean my third times staying there. The Elvis room was my favorite so far thanks for a great hospitality.
The hosts were so nice and accommodating, the pool/cabana/backyard are beautiful and made the hot days so much more bearable, and we enjoyed exploring the Bywater neighborhood. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
The owner Kelly is an amazing host! The location is awesome Loved the concept themed rooms. We were in Elvis Great pool and hot tub
A beautiful, romantic & relaxing true Hospitality EXPERIENCE!! As a New Orleans local Hospitality Culinary industry professional/retired, I was thoroughly impressed with the property, proprietors & amazing atmosphere created by the owners
Im travelling alone and this is my first time in New Orleans. The kind of place I like staying in. The neighborhood has plenty of places to eat. I love the art vibe and have bought a few pieces to bring home

I expect nothing less when I have to pay for it. I am there to bathe and sleep. Livingroom, kitchen with eating area, bedroom and bathroom. We knew to stay away from Bourbon Street
When we got back later that evening, you could smell that they had been in to clean because it smelled like bleach. But they didn't sweep first so the mopping only streaked the dirt everywhere
While it appeared clean, it wasn't until I pulled back the shower curtain when I began to be concerned. There were large black specks of "something" all over the shower floor
When I search for a hotel, I am looking for a few things. When I go to bed at night, I want to sleep and I want it quiet. I am OCD when it comes to my own home being cleaned
The top of the beside tables and kitchen table had sticky spots so it obviously wasn't wiped down. So you can imagine what the light switches and channel changers were like
then there was a large clump of long, dark hair on the floor of the shower. Then when I closed the shower curtain, I looked on the inside and there was hair all over it

Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Close to everything. Very good experience I would highly recommend!!

If you are looking for all the amenities with WIFI, fresh coats of paint, and fancy things, this place isn't for you. My husband and I were looking for history, privacy, and very little of the modern world
Since I originally thought I was staying in a hotel, I knew I could leave my luggage with the concierge or valet at the end of my stay since my flight was late in the evening. Unfortunately that was not the case

Ok hotel, staff really friendly and helpful, good location walking to where the action is, and nice restaurants nearby, close to the shopping mall, pool is just rubbish, rooms ok,  the sort of thing thing you would expect, I thought the price was quite high comparing to other better hotels on our trip
Very convenient to convention center. Well run and comfortable.Friendly staff. Good bar. Small restaurant - OK food with New Orleans twist. Better options all around
Staff was great, room was clean. Walked most places. Was there with kids and they loved it. Definitely will be staying here again.
I stayed during Taylor Swifts Eras tour. We had a great stay and the best time in New Orleans. Thank you!!

Good location, just few minutes walk from bourbon street. The hotel is comfy and clean, especially the toilet. The hotel only has valet parking option. There are also plenty of cheaper parking lots nearby.
Her calm demeanor was welcoming after a long trip. Joe, the valet associate( although he didn't valet our vehicle) was very welcoming and personable during our interactions. The hotel is a block from Bouburn street
Homewood was in a really good spot, accessible via walking and tram/buses right along the front. It is a few blocks from all tourist spots (Bourbon St. , Acme restaurant, Cafe Du Monde, etc)
Hey y’all! Me and my family spent thanksgiving week and enjoyed every bit! The rooms were clean and the service was great! We wake up early w my toddler so having breakfast at 6:30am perfect! Michelle at the front desk was always friendly and ready to help out
The staff were all friendly and helpful. They have a valet service and laundry facilities

Sean from concierge was the highlight of my stay! Rooms are huge, very clean, cold AC, and very comfortable! The laundry and dryer service was also a very much appreciated amenity. $3 per wash and dry load so $6 in total
Everything was great except the bedding and room temp. The pillows were very soft and uncomfortable, leaving my neck in pain. The temperature of room was difficult to control
Was taken care of from the time we pulled up to he time we cked out. Room clean and staff went out of there way to help us. Thanks
There is a machine in the room to exchange dollar bills for quarters. Daily breakfast taco is amazing with a rotational menu

This hotel was actually pretty great. I booked through an online service and when we got there we were super sketched on the location. It’s ROUGH, but it was too late to cancel and get refunded so we decided to stay
He explained how the shower worked and there’s a photo of the faucet with instructions posted right there at the counter for visual aid. The parking lot was super clean and not full of hoopties or trash
We actually didn’t see anyone else there while we were on premise except the maintenance man the day we left. The floors were new as were the “sink” area. Tv worked and the remote did too
The bed sheets were ‘clean’ sans hair or fresh stains but definitely “well loved”. We always immediately check for bedbugs and remove the bedspread and our room passed the ‘ick’ test
We checked in and the guy at the counter was friendly but not overly and maybe slightly curt but not rude at all
We found out afterwards that the location is a well known ho stroll but we don’t shame people for tryin to eat

This property was amazing! Anthony was super friendly and very knowledgeable. When we first arrived I was very surprised by the outside of the building. But once you enter the building you enter a beautiful oasis
This is an exceptional property. It is an oasis hidden in the middle of the French Quarter. After a long day of walking, it was such a treat to cool off in the pool
This place is exactly like the pictures. It’s more of an Air B&B that’s right around the corner from Bourbon Street. I love it. Stayed for Mardi Gras 2025. Definitely would stay again.
There were always bottles of water and cans of soda drinks available for the guests. Valet parking was very quick and luggage service helped us to enjoy the time before our flight
