*The lady at front desk wasn't friendly and helpful with checking in, got an attitude and poor manor.
*I left my ring in the room and realized an hour after checking out, operator was nice enough and helped looking for it , however, no luck after searching in the room , without evidence I don't want to blame the house keeper, but they need to be trained to be honest ...

Staff great in all ways. Bed could have been warmer re: blankets, etc. Parking was limited though we got a space and we recognize that it is in Boston/Cambridge. Breakfast was very good. Entire facility was very clean

Staff seemed nice. Check in was smooth once we figured it out. (The website given in the email to check in does not work. Perhaps the app provided more info, but I did not download it.) Park in front in the turn around, go in and get your room keys, which will be used to get into the first come/first served parking garage. (There's another garage right next to the one you use for the hotel. Don't use this one, it's for residents of the building next door only.) Elevator in the garage is nice so that you don't have to go outside to get into your room. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful (fruit, cereal, make-your-own waffles, pastries, coffee, juice, etc.).
Negatives: The room seemed clean, though there was a water bottle left under the small dresser, which made me wonder how thoroughly they're cleaned. Screws were missing from the door hinge to where the fridge is stored.The bathroom door handle was a bit loose and didn't lock. These are simple fixes and really should have been taken care of before we were checked in. I feel for what we paid, there should be more care taken into the room upkeep.
All in all, we only stayed one night and it served it's purpose.

The staff were very friendly, and the room was clean and of a comfortable size. The breakfast selection was also quite good. It was great that it was within walking distance to TD Garden, and although I had to cross a bridge, I felt safe even when walking late at night.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There's free parking which wasn't easy to find in Boston. The breakfast was good. We walked into the city each day which took around 30 to 40 minutes, depending on our destination and was an easy level walk. If you don't want to walk, the train station is just a block away and is a reliable and cheap alternative. The area around the hotel felt safe and there's a friendly bar just around the corner that serves good food. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again if back in Boston in future.

Decent rooms friendly service
Decent rooms, free parking and breakfast. Friendly service. Ist they gave us an uncleaned, but promptly found us another room, soon as I notified the front desk.

A Boston tradition, well loved and well deserved. Truly the creamiest, most flavorful chowder around. They do not skimp on the portions. Very nice cocktail and dessert selections as well. I prefer the older locations for the ambience. "If it isn't fresh, it isn't Legal's." Go and enjoy!

Here is the thing, don't get me wrong. This is a really nice upscale place. But there is nothing unique about it, when compared to the chain of Legal Seafoods. The decor is modern, the servers are attentive. The food is really delicious, loved the crab dip. But it too me feels like a sterile, straight laced place. I feel l am going there for the name and prestige, not for the uniqueness per se. And I know a lot of people enjoy that, and that is great. For me, it really didn't leave an impression. Would I go back? Probably, but not anytime soon.
4 appetizers, 2 bottles of wine, 2 cocktails, 3 main dishes came out to be a little over $300.

Nice location for an intimate lunch. Warm and cozy. Sandwiches and salads with large portions. Celiac and vegan friendly. Would recommend making a reservation to avoid a long wait.

Food and service at The Black Sheep are always phenomenal. As an MIT employee I often stop by for lunch with colleagues and we're always pleased with the service and dining options. The patio is wonderful in the warmer months and the dining room is cozy, warm, and welcoming during the cooler months.

In addition to normal dining I have also had the pleasure to host several events at The Black Sheep and I can say that the staff here is far and away the easiest and most accommodating group of professionals that I have dealt with. Santos the Restaurant Manager is always happy to help and will go out of his way to make sure that everything is always perfect. Additionally, the staff that we have during our events, Odair and Viviane, are beyond helpful and are a lot of fun.

I would highly recommend The Black Sheep for dinner, lunch, and especially to host your next event. Santos and his staff are a cut above the rest.

Pretty great bar. I just upgraded them to 4 stars. I'm not saying it's the best bar ever: but if u want real ales in a quiet, calm atmosphere and close to Boston centre, this is hard to beat.
I think I should come back to investigate further!

Nice spot. Great beer selection, lots of seating and various bar areas (it’s connected to a bbq restaurant). Service was great and friendly, and the beer flights (there’s 2 to choose from) were delicious. The portions weren’t large, but the food was pretty good. Will be back again for drinks for sure.

We were meeting up with a group of old college friends who hadn't gotten together in 15+ years. We wanted a spot in the Kendall Square area where we could not only get great food & drink, but also have a quiet enough environment to hear each other and catch up (boy, do we sound old!!). We made reservations at CBC and couldn't have been more thrilled. While most other nights we love sitting at the bar in the thick of things (and even on a Sunday evening the bar was hopping), we were seated with a few other parties in a calmer back room where the volume was perfect. Service was attentive, the food and beer were excellent, and we couldn't have asked for more! Definitely recommended whether you're seeking a loud and crazy night or a more calm & quiet experience.

I love CBC's beers and have been coming here for years. Unfortunately the wait staff has become rather entitled. We tried to have an engagement party for our friends in the back, but when more people showed up than we anticipated the wait staff made it vary apparent that we were not only an inconvenience for them, we were unwanted. The hundreds of dollars we spent was clearly unappreciated. A handful of our party ended up standing and talking, and each time a staff member walked by, they angrily and loudly expressed there frustration. Eventually we were forced to settle up before ordering our meals and going to the bar. I recognize that our group became larger than anticipated, but I was staggered by the lack of professionalism after years of being a loyal customer.

Nice and sunny outside area! Great place if you have a pup with you. The beer tower was insane! Fairly cheap and the food was great besides the fact that certain request like “no tomato” and “add an extra patty” weren’t met but it was fine. The waiter was nice enough but he definitely seemed like he didn’t want to be there that day. Would recommend 100% if you want to pregame with friends and drink good moderately cheap beer.
