Does the job.
Love this place. It's not super pretty but it's safe, location is convenient. Basic as can be but cold ac. Good bed. Clean room. Fine tv. Price is great. Have stayed here like 5 times when I come to Houston.

GREAT Property to stay
Super clean and safe location. Easy access to downtown Houston with nearby main highway access. Great property and very well cared for. Would definitely stay there again.

Attempted car break in
Someone tried to break into my car on the night of March 27th as the alarm was on when I checked the car in the morning of Mar 28. They never got into it. Good to better monitor the parking area

Arrived and was helped kindly by front office tenant. Room was very well kept, clean,

I didn't like the bad. It's too soft. I sank in to much and was not supported. Hurt my back. The paint on the room 108 door is peeling off in big chunks.

The staff was very kind and gave us extra towels and coffee. The room had all the basic necessities and was very clean. The location was great, next to Memorial Park and a short drive from the center.

No Frills. Friendly.
As long as people are half-way decent and kind, this goes a long long way with me. The three people I interacted with were likely from the same family. They were apologetic when things did not work, willing to provide extras where they could with cheerfulness (an extra pillow, etc). The room was clean. The AC worked. If I needed something clarified, they clarified it. I will happily use this hotel in the future.

Really nasty, really rude and really not worth the hassle

This place is cozy and very good to relax with the family. The food is great and the service was great.

My wife and I go to this location almost every Sunday for breakfast/brunch. It has the tendency to get a bit crowded between 10AM and 12:30PM. Comparing it to other IHOP locations, it seems to be average. It is an older location than most.

It was a not so great experience.
The host was the server. He sat us on the very first table we could see. It felt like an awkward spot. He took our order then told us they were out of turkey so we had to order something else.
Customer service is the invisible product. The server was a smart ass and would make rude remarks like if we were "friends" but I don't get along with people like that. He also rushed with the check. On top of all of this, there was another employee who came RANDOMLY to chit chat about his love life with us when we didn't care to hear about his business! He was definitely on drugs. The whole experience was uncomfortable and unprofessional even though we stil left tip I would not recommend this IHOP.

Food was great. Came out quickly, hot, fresh, and exactly as requested. Service was fantastic! The service was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Overall I had a great experience.
