The Westin Dallas Fort Worth Airport in Irving

The room felt like a hospital room. The bed was super squeaky. I couldn't get comfortable on the bed either. The worst part was the air conditioner was not working right. It was so hot in the room. I won't be staying again.

Just avoid this location.

One we specifically called and made sure after our booking the reservation that the card not be ran until we got there. They said no problem.. card got ran at approximately 3:30 hours before we got there. They then cancelled our reservation with out contacting us. Then they tried to up the price since THEY cancelled the reservation. No not happening. We booked it for the price we did and you cancelled it after we asked not to have the card ran until arrival and did anyway. Then desk clerk said he would honor the price. Later we find out they actually shorted is a whole day. We are at a conference until Monday and now have to checkout Sunday and find another hotel because they can't even get the booking correct.

The room smelled. Towels looked stained and dirty. They also refused to let us have an extra blanket. I get cold easily and the other person runs hot so needed to keep the room cooler. Staff was rude and generally not helpful or accommodating in any way.

The room was decent and clean. However, the towels in the washroom did have hairs, as mentioned by other reviewers. There was no tissue in the toilet. So, I called the front desk and asked for one. They told me to go downstairs and collect it. So much for room service. Moreover, they charged me more for the room than what was displayed on Google. The motel didn't have any restaurant of their own. A couple of restaurants were within 15-20 minutes walking distance. However, they all closed by 9 pm. So, if you want to eat after 9, you're mostly out of luck. The motel has vending machines with chocolates, chips and sodas, but those may not be sufficient. I literally had to starve that night. The motel offers 'free' shuttle ride to and from the airport. However, you are expected to tip the driver. Last but not least, before checking out, I asked them for a receipt. The front desk staff noted my email address and said they would email the receipt to me. I am writing this review after two weeks of my stay, and the receipt hasn't arrived yet.

Giving this place 2 stars because the bed was clean and it came with a good refrigerator in the room. When I unraveled the towels there was one with black and red hair ALL in it. Brought it to the front desk and the staff apologized and gave me a new towel, but when I got back to my room and unraveled that one I found 2 more black hairs. Not sure what was going on, but it was very off putting. There was also no lotion, or shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom and the bath tub had little black hair in it. I mainly booked this motel because it was cheap and in the pictures it had a pool. When I arrived the pool was cemented over. You really get what you pay for at this motel.
