The Adolphus is truly a beautiful hotel, steeped in historical architecture. The way they have preserved the interior of the lobby, bar, tea and group areas are wonderful. Cita at reception was also very personable and wonderful in helping us with our room up grade. Where I felt the ratings fell short were the interior of the bedroom & bathroom. We had a beautiful room that was large and comfortable. However, I didn't feel as if the decor was up to standard for how gorgeous the hotel is. If the hotel invested in new carpets, linens and elevated bathroom amenities, it would take the ratings up to 5 stars. It was hard to feel inspired by the exterior and then walk into our room where the interior was lackluster.

Overall, charming old school property located in the heart of downtown Dallas. Nice staff, attractive property, I liked the gym, pool on the roof, and the lobby area is beautiful. Not happy that that the body wash canister was empty when I arrived and never refilled during the stay, charging the customer a "tip" for a mini-bar transaction is a new low for the hospitality industry, and the overall value proposition simply wasn't good.

Room was not ready at check in but staff quickly found a substitute so only a minor inconvenience. Service is excellent. Some remodeling project was underway so couldn’t enjoy the full effect of the historical property. Location is excellent if you don’t mind walking around street people sleeping on the sidewalks when venturing out.

Overall, great stay and extremely satisfied with hotel.
A few pros: The staff are welcoming but some of the youngsters are a bit loony. The overall appearance and architecture is to die for; the hardwood floors and classis Titanic era style captivates your longing to lounge around all day in the foyer.
A few cons: The food is mid tier and could use a little more fixing up. We had the steak fritz and the meat wasn't the highest grade. (French Room Bar) The French Room Bar was dark and dimly lit, so if you want to see your food, do not eat here. In contrast, the French Room Tea Room is well lit and shines bright like the sun.
The room was overall great. Huge space to do many activities, large walk in closest and large bathroom. The toilet paper could be a little softer, but the overall stay was fantastic.
We stayed here because we went to the Dallas Symphony House.

Excellent stay here. The entire staff was so friendly! The only complaint I have is the hot water situation. There wasn’t much of it in our shower sadly.

Everyone was so kind. The hotel is in a great location, especially if you need to go to the conference center. The restaurant was great too!

This was such a nice property. We had afternoon tea at The French Room and it was excellent! Everything about this hotel was nice.

Everything about our stay was great. Staff was amazing every one of them. Everything was clean, neat, and in order. Could not of had a better time and stay.

Unsafe / high homeless and very rough population all around the area. I can see that they are working on making it better.

Been here about 3 different times, sloooooow every time, bathrooms have been down every time and crowded eeeeverytime. I guess the only good thing has been it’s within walking distance so I dont have to find a new parking spot while working DT.

When they say freaky fast that is and understatement lol. I. Ordered my sandwich they immediately started it and before I could pull out my payment my sandwich was right in my face ready to eat! The ingredients were very fresh and I definitely enjoyed the fast service!

Called for delivery and the lady was super rude. Hung up on me after saying they don't deliver to a hotel (Lorenzo) that is 0.66mil away from location. eaten at JJ a ton of times prior, but this lady blew it for JJ for me from here forward. Best of luck to everyone else

I don't normally write reviews but this place has disappointed me one too many times. I've never had a bad experience with JJs until I moved here and tried this one. They always mess up some part of my order, and today was by far the worst.
I ordered a veggie sub (#6) with hot peppers. What came was cheese, avocado, and hot peppers on stale bread - stale enough that they had to cut the ends off before passing it off to me. So where are the veggies, you may ask? I'm wondering that too. If the lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers that normally come on a veggie were rotten, I'm glad they didn't put them on my sandwich. BUT AT LEAST CALL AND TELL ME SO I CAN CHANGE MY ORDER. Who wants a veggie sub without veggies?!?! And the avocado is turning brown anyway. I would've liked a chance to pick something worth eating instead of throwing away $9. I'm very disappointed, and I can't believe they would think it's ok to serve something like this. You can do better, Jimmy John's.

Food is delicious and waiters are nice. Unfortunately the first face you see as soon as you walk in is not. Extremely rude Hispanic girl with long hair, she is on her phone and does not greet or say 1 single word. Walks us to our table and walks off. I am starting to believe she is mute because we come every week and I have yet to hear her voice. Very very rude, unwelcoming, & unprofessional. Customer service is everything in a business and she definitely does not belong at the front as a hostess.

Service was lacking.. nice girl but she kept forgetting our orders. She was patient with us though. Chicken on a stick was good, rolls were good, and we had fun. Love this location right in the heart of the city!

The happy hour deals are ridiculous, in a good way. Not only is it longer than your typical happy hour but the deals are remarkable.
Decent sushi and extensive menu. Parking is particularly difficult so I would suggest riding the dart rail, which drops off literally right outside, or uber.
They are always packed at happy hour so either try to make a reservation or arrive an hour before it starts.

Come see Aboo ?... best bartender in town! Fast, nice pour on that alcohol, he's on it! Food is super delicious! Come to happy hour and you won't be disappointed. Great specials, servers, and food! Late night also A-1 ?

Delicious food! I love the variety of choices and the healthy selection of vegetarian options. It's located in an interesting part of town. 4-stars since I've only been here once but it could potentially earn a better rating soon!
