We booked this hotel online because the location and price looked good, and it was advertised as having parking. But when we arrived, we realized it was actually a self-check-in apartment-style building with no parking spaces at all. After calling customer service, we were told that we had to park a few minutes away in a paid parking lot. When we got there, we saw a sign saying that cars must be moved by 7:00 a.m. the next morning, or there would be a fine. That means we have to wake up early just to move the car.
The listing was misleading and dishonest — if we had known this in advance, we definitely wouldn’t have chosen this place.
On top of that, there were no slippers or toiletries provided, and the room was very small. We’ll just make do for one night, but we don’t want to come back again.
Because of this booking, my son and I argued for hours — he even blamed me for not handling things well.

I requested a quiet room well in advance of my stay (several months in fact). When I arrived at the hotel I found I was given a room at street level right next to the front door - possibly the noisiest room in the hotel. The banging shut of this automatic door made it impossible to stay asleep after 6am. I find it difficult to believe that Sonder couldn't have made more effort to allocate me a quieter room. When I tried to contact the hotel staff to change the room, I got either 'We can't find your reservation' or 'Oops something went wrong' (using either the Sonder app or the Sonder web page to send a message because this hotel did not have a physical reception. Both methods failed consistently - so frustrating). When I tried to call the hotel staff, no human answered the phone (I waited for 5 minutes, but that was enough when paying roaming charges). A couple of days later when I did eventually reach a human, I was told that the reservation system was having problems. The hotel was unable to change my room for a quieter one.

Booked this hotel weeks in advance, got a confirmation code for entry since there’s no staff or front desk. Arrived after midnight due to a late flight, and the code didn’t work. Contacted their agent, who said my reservation was canceled because they tried to charge more than the agreed rate and it didn’t go through. No warning, no communication—just left me stranded in downtown Seattle in the middle of the night. They refused to reinstate the booking or help in any way. Terrifying and unacceptable experience. Avoid this place at all costs.

It was very hard getting in contact with through the phone with a representative. The TV in my room wouldnt turn on and then one of the outlets in the room is faulty. I connected my phone charger and it created an electrical spark. Spark flames came out and I wasn't able to contact anyone for help. No elevator that I saw. It is a good location. Great location and the one staff person I ran into was nice, but otherwise the rooms were small and the issues I had with the outlet was the worst experience ever at a hotel. Didnt like its hard to get in contact with staff. My stay was 6/28/25.

Super clean, super tiny accommodations, but for the price ($145 plus tax in Us $) it met all my needs. The entry code and TV access was a little confusing, at first, but I got it figured out. Very cute and quiet neighborhood. Short walk , but uphill from the downtown core, walkable to the Space Needle etc.

This has been a great stay. The staff is super friendly, and they have been fully attentive to all of our needs. For example, before we stayed here, we used that chat to request a microwave to be placed in our room, and the day that we came in, the microwave was in our room, for which we are so grateful. There hasn't been a lot of noise outside, even though they currently have a Comicon. We're currently staying on the first floor; however, it's been very quiet for us, and it's also very clean. It doesn't give that nasty hotel smell. Thank you for your great hospitality.

Poor customer service - no microwaves, no ice, if you had a question you had to call someone. When we arrived the girl who met us couldn’t even tell us where to park. I needed a fedex delivery and the make attendant gave me a wrong address - no pkg. it was sent back because there wasn’t delivery at the fedex address he recommended. I lost $50 because the pkg couldn’t be delivered.

I knew what I was getting myself into having read other reviews. This is not a staffed hotel and you have to have your phone nearby to input the codes into the front door and the room. I also knew that there is not elevator, and my lucky day -- I was on the sixth floor. So I got good exercise lugging my suitcases up the stairs. The room was very clean and quiet. Felt safe and there are lots of options to walk to for coffee, food and snacks. A phone number is available to call someone if you need, but I did not have to. I walked into downtown Seattle for my meetings and parked my rental car at the nearby city parking lot. If you are going to stay for several days, best to purchase your parking space for the future....otherwise you have to make your payment at 7 a.m. I would stay again -- reasonably priced.

This is not a hotel at all, it is a B&B!
I saw the pictures online before booking. The rooms were all sunny, so I booked it immediately.
As a result, I was given a room on the first floor, which is the basement.
Feel cheated! ! ! !
Even if the sky is clear outside, there is not a trace of sunlight in the room.
It was very depressing. I couldn’t refund or exchange it. I stayed there for four nights.
Stayed for four nights and no one came to clean the room.
The ventilation in the room is broken
The bathroom stinks
Spending more than 1,500 yuan a night to stay in a room like this is really a scam! ! ! !

Excellent location.
Loved the free locker facilities which were available on your final day. Plenty of refreshment, clean towels top ups available. The pin code key was spot on with good communication from the Sonder staff prior to your stay.
