I didn't really interact with people, which was what I wanted, but they seemed nice enough. Pretty close to places I wanted to go, reasonable rates, and there was a kitchen.

It's really pretty sad. This is an historical building that is not in the hands of people that appreciate that. Lights are not even plugged in. Cobwebs in the ceiling. An 80s kitchenette. What looks like blood in the bath tub is actually finger nail polish that the desk knew about, but somehow neglected to tell me. Great quiet location, but that's about it.

The Baroness Hotel is located in a beautiful old brick building directly behind Virginia Mason Medical Center. It has a comfortable sitting area with a fireplace just inside the lobby with fresh coffee availble throughout the day. The Baroness has done its best to modernize its facility but its best to remember that this building is quite old and that is what makes it charming. I had a 2 queen room with a kitchette including a full sized refrigerator. The mattresses were amazingly comfortable. The room had a lot of storage and would 've great for a longer stay. I absolutely loved the old windows and cast iron hardware possibly original to the building. The elevator is located behind a door that only unlocks when the car reaches your floor. My kids thought this was super fun and 'spooky, like being in the Tower of Terror!! If you want a no frills hotel with old style charm and beauty that is centrally located to all of downtown Seattle, then The Baroness might be for you.

Staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Very rustic feel. I would recommend and come back again. No air conditioning but the windows opened

Old, very clean, staff very friendly and helpfull. Lots of places to eat in the area. No A/C.

Great location. Cozy bedroom, tight bathroom but it had a small sitting room and kitchen which were great. Older property with quirky touches but it was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Vintage Hotel right next to Virginia Mason Hospital. Double rooms have queen size beds or two singles. Every room has a kitchenette with the stove microwave and refrigerator. The parking sucks. Pay as you park or $24 per day. Rooms are not air-conditioned but they do have a fan.

They are ok. Nice location and friendly service. Plus they have a neat "old fashioned" elevator. My complain though is that I had an issue with accessing the wifi and I could not get any help (yes, I followed all the instructions and I was at the front desk trying to resolve this as well.) I also called their "hot" line "available 24/7" and could not get a hold of anyone. This completely ruined my experience, since I rely on free accessible wifi as confirmed in their rooms.

The room was dated, but it was clean. It's a decent location where you can still access downtown. Great for the price
