Be aware there are no coffee machines in the rooms, though there is coffee available in the lobby in the mornings. Also, hotel is in an old historic building and the elevator is super loud, you can actually hear it in the room at times
Not a deal breaker, but the walls between rooms are a bit on the thin side.
Comfort stay. Clean hotel, However value for money is not right. Prices are too high. Breakfast is not one of the best I've seen....
I booked the Kimpton Vintage because I was hoping for a charming retro stay. It was a disaster. The hotel is old, terrible smell in the rooms and hallways, chemical smell in the room, ridiculous room design, poor television, no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, no foyer and a very difficult parking garage to gain access to. I cannot believe that this hotel is part of the Kimptom/IHG family. It is simply NOT POSSIBLE!
I got this room mas a deal on ******* at the same day, but reservation didn't say that it's going to be ADA room, and from past experiences I know that those rooms are usually not nice (worn out, smells weirdly etc).
I wish I knew and paid a bit more to stay in a better place.
Don't feel like you can trust last minute deals unless you've been to the property before.
