Days Inn by Wyndham Seattle North of Downtown

Absolute Dump
Beat up and old building
Interior walls damaged
Same goes with furniture and drapes
Absolute dump
Spiders, dirty rooms and worst yet a manager that did not care
Wyndham should be ashamed
They tried to hide flaws and dents with cheap paint.
Old bed and uncomfortable bed.
We complained but no one in their staff cared!!!

Our room smelled like urine. The people working there were very friendly, but went on a smoke break right outside of the office/breakfast area. The free breakfast consisted of cold cereal, green bananas and plastic wrapped pastries similar to what you would find at a 7-11. I stay at this type of hotel/motel regularly and can say this one was especially bad. I am surprised Days Inn allows their brand to be associated with this property.

Well, nobody broke into our room or vandalized our car overnight, but unfortunately that's about the best i can say for this place... They get 2 stars instead of 1 because the room itself was clean enough and looked like it had been pretty recently updated. I don't have high standards for a hotel room, but this place was in a super sketchy area. The images we saw on the website were not of the exterior of THIS building, it was a generic image, because the exterior of this location was run-down and dirty looking. The windows of our room had no screens, which i found very odd. The website did not list the avaliable amenities, or if it did, we could not find them. I've always had great experiences with Days Inn in the past, which was why we looked for one on this vacation, but this place broke our streak I'm sorry to say. The Days Inn free continental breakfast has always been a drawing point for us- at other locations we have stayed, the breakfast was generous- fresh waffles, sausage & eggs, cereal, toast, yogurt, a variety of fruit options, 2-3 types of juice, milk, all at the same place offered for breakfast on the same day. All this place had for "breakfast" was apple hand pies (think like McD's or Hostess), bananas, and Sunny Delight, which neither me or my partner can drink because it has grapefruit juice in it, which cancels out medications we take. I would not stay at this location again, and cannot recommend anyone else stay here either. For the price we paid (about $175 for a single night in a double queen room) and the fact there were emergency vehicles with sirens running up and down the street throughout the night, i was extremely disappointed.
