+ The place and the breakfast
- The manager's attitude was appalling. We arrived late at night and were staying for four days. All that remained was to pay the tourist tax, which she demanded we pay immediately! Unfortunately, this hotel didn't accept credit cards (Russian or foreign) or cash in euros, claiming the euro wasn't a stable currency. She insisted we pay before 6 PM in dollars or local currency, disregarding our scheduled excursions. We had to rush to the bank or find another way to exchange money. Finally, we were able to pay by transferring money from a Russian banking app to her Uzbek phone number at an exchange rate she imposed! Furthermore, she didn't give us the border crossing receipt and didn't respond to any messages after our departure. The hotel was far too commercial.

It's close to Registan Square and the breakfast is delicious. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi is also excellent.

Very good.
They helped me with directions to tourist spots and calling a taxi.
They were happy to schedule my check-out to coincide with my return flight.
Breakfast was delicious, with rice, bread, fruit, ham, cheese, etc.
I was able to get around the tourist spots on foot.
Thank you very much.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious! It was freshly cooked in the kitchen right next to the dining room. Most of the food was homemade, and the soup, salad, and bread were all delicious!

The hotel is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from Registan Square. However, the hotel is in a back alley, so it's dark at night.

The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was a little weak, but the hair dryer has a strong wind. ◎I was able to watch YouTube on the TV, and Netflix if you have an account.

You could quite often hear the sound of running water in other rooms and people in the hallway, so it might bother those with sensitive skin.

But it's a lovely, homey place, so I would definitely recommend staying here if you're in Samarkand!

The hotel's excellent location in the old part of Samarkand, within walking distance of the city's main attractions. Registan Square was a 10-minute walk away, and the Gur Emir Mausoleum was a 15-minute walk. We were also delighted with the breakfast, which offered a wide selection of dishes, including porridge, eggs, pastries, and fresh fruit.

The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Registan Square in the city center, which is very convenient. You can go directly to the Registan Square light show at night. The staff speaks English and is easy to communicate with. There are also popular restaurants about a 5-minute walk away.

It's rare to give bad reviews. Originally, the people of Uzbekistan gave me the feeling that they were very friendly and helpful, but when I arrived in Samarkand, my impression was greatly reduced. The owner or waiter of this hotel is really stubborn and unfriendly. Let's not talk about the hotel environment first, it's very old, the facilities are not good, the furniture is very old, and we dare not use the towels at all. We are two adults and one child, and the child is over 3 years old. We booked a double bed room or a triple room all the way from Tashkent to Bukhara. The hotel didn't ask for extra charges for our child before. Anyway, no matter what room I booked, we were allowed to stay when we checked in. What's the problem with the child sleeping in the same bed with us adults? However, this hotel insisted on making us pay for the child's room. It was already very late when we arrived, and the front desk was unreasonable. They kept making us wait and didn't check in until 8 o'clock in the evening, and they didn't want us to cancel the order. It was just a forced sale. They were stubborn and unreasonable! It made us very uncomfortable, and we had no choice but to pay extra to stay. Then, out of humanitarianism, we booked two nights, and the hotel should at least guarantee us one bottle of mineral water per person every day. Since you have to charge extra for the child, and said that the child needs an extra breakfast, we also paid extra for the hotel fee for the child. As a result, there was free mineral water on the first night. On the second night, I asked them if there was mineral water. The front desk said that we only provide it on the first night and we have to charge for the second night. I felt very uncomfortable instantly. They are crazy about money. Doing business requires an open mind. This is a hotel with super low cost performance and super poor service. Everyone should not step into the trap!

The hotel is in an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk from Registan Square. However, it's set back from the main road, so it may be a little difficult to find at first. Be careful, as taxis can't get right up to the door.
The hotel itself is small and feels like a family-run business. There's no elevator, so carrying large luggage can be a challenge.
The rooms are spacious and easy to use, with hardwood floors and good air conditioning, making them very comfortable.
There are plenty of amenities, but a refrigerator would have been nice.
Breakfast starts at 8am, but there are plenty of homemade items, and everything was delicious.
