This hotel is incredibly clean, and the front desk staff, especially the young man, was very welcoming and polite. The environment is really comfortable with a lovely little garden. They offer a free and delicious breakfast. On our second morning, we had to leave at 6:30 AM to catch our ride, and they even prepared a complimentary packed lunch and hot tea for us. The tea was still piping hot when we received it! Five-star recommendation!

Just what we needed for a night close to the station for a very early morning train. What really made our stay special was the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the exceptional cleanliness and comfort. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home!
A special thanks to the two young men at reception and on the night shift & the manager - they were genuinely kind, attentive, and thoughtful, making sure all our needs were met. It was a particularly very pleasant evening (cake & infusion with interesting conversations, after dinner in town).
The staff even prepared breakfast lunch boxes for us to take on our early train, which we truly appreciated.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for a convenient and pleasant stay near the station. The kindness of the staff truly sets this hotel apart! Thank you.

My parents and I went to this hotel and we found all facilities of the hotel were extremely good. The service met our needs, the hotel room was extremely clean and the staff kept it clean every day, the food both had a large variety and was always extremely fresh in taste and appearance, and it was overall an excellent experience for us. I highly recommend it for anyone who is travelling as it was a great, valuable experience.

The hotel is conveniently located, a 2-minute walk from the train station. Nearby are the railway market, bus hub, tram terminal, and various restaurants. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is rich, including meat dishes.

I stayed here to catch an early sleeper train. The station is about 3 minutes away. I couldn't eat breakfast, so they prepared a lunch box for me.
The front desk staff were also very helpful, so I was able to stay there with peace of mind.
The train tracks are right next to the hotel, and you can see the trains parked at the station, so although you can hear the trains, it wasn't too bothersome and I was able to get a good night's sleep.

The hotel is right next to the train station. The front desk staff is very friendly and proactively provides tea. The room is clean and the breakfast is good.

I booked this hotel because I saw it had high reviews on Google Maps, and sure enough, there's a reason for its high ratings.
The location is truly excellent, right next to Samarkand Train Station, a 5-minute walk. While it's a bit out of town, there's a bus stop nearby with multiple routes, making it easy to get to various attractions. Of course, taxis are even more convenient. Being close to the train station, there's some noise from the trains passing by, but I personally find earplugs barely disturb it.
The several front desk staff on shift were also very welcoming and attentive. Aside from the fact that my Visa card wouldn't work when I checked in (I suspect it was a problem with the hotel's POS system connecting to the bank), so I had to withdraw cash to pay for the room, everything else was excellent! 👍

Amazing little hotel right next to the station. The cleanliness is spotless and the staff is super kind, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Being right next to the train is convenient after a long trip but do keep in mind you need to order cabs to go to main landmarks (which the staff does for you so it’s super easy).

The room and bedding are very neat, the bathroom is clean, the front desk staff is hospitable, and coffee and tea are delivered to the room upon check-in. The hotel is close to the train station, and there are bus stops and taxi stations outside, which is very convenient to go to tourist attractions. There are large supermarkets and farmers' markets nearby, and living facilities are complete. It is very quiet at night. If you come to Samarkand for a trip, the Old Station Hotel is the best choice.
