The room was exactly as described and the beds comfy (hard mattress as I like). The bathroom is a bit old, but very clean. We were alone and the breakfast was quite good (to Uzbek standards).
The lady of the house was so friendly it's heartwarming.
They do not speak English but I managed with a few words of Russian I learned over only 3 weeks. In case of need they can call someone who speaks English to translate.

My family and I stayed in a quad room at Muzaffar Hotel. There is a strict no shoes inside the hotel policy and they provide slippers for you to wear indoors. The room was of a good size. Bedding was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was big and very clean. Hotel staff are lovely and although they have limited English, they know enough to manage. The breakfast was fresh local produce and you can request particular items if you so wish. The hotel is in a good location and close to historical sights. We had a lovely stay here.

Although the hotel is small, the rooms are very clean, the facilities are excellent, and it's extremely quiet. Breakfast is very thoughtfully prepared, freshly cooked to order from the provided menu. The hotel is also perfectly located, just a few minutes' walk from Regenstein Square and within easy walking distance of most attractions. The service was excellent, with a genuine smile and warm hospitality. This is a very cost-effective hotel and will definitely be our next choice for our next visit to Samarkand.

Location is good, staff is helpful. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast is good.

There's stairs so if you get room on the first floor and have big luggage, transferring it up and down on your own could be a challenge.

Very friendly staff. Our room was very big and clean. Bathroom is a bit old, but functions well and the shower is big. The location is also great, near Registan and other big sites, but in a quiet street.

Lovely place with great location next to Registan and I enjoyed the breakfast. However to be 5 stars two improvements needed: someone who speaks English (the staff only spoke Russian/Uzbek which led to big communications problems) and be able to pay with card. If it continues like that, I suggest anyone who does not speak RU/UZ to find another place.

Hotel was managed by two bothers who allowed me to prepare dinner in its kitchen. Although service was not so good (family owned business), the price was competitive.
