Sultanat Hotel in Samarkand

This is probably the worst hotel I've ever been "lucky" enough to stay in for 10 days. 1. I'll start with breakfast: only the cheapest instant coffee, pancakes or donuts, sausage, cheese, sliced ​​sausages, boiled eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, and a little fruit—that's all there is to it. The tables are always dirty, apparently after all-night parties, with empty containers, fast-food wrappers, and a trash can with cigarette butts right next to the table. 2. I dropped off laundry (a paid service), and they promised it would be ready that evening. 3 days later, I was asked to go down to the laundry room to find my own things among a pile of other people's. 3. I had to leave for another city, so I didn't stay in my room for 2 nights. Naturally, I didn't check out because... I was planning to go back, but upon my return, I found my room had been checked out and my bags were at the reception desk. 4. The air conditioning in the room doesn't work, and it's 42 degrees Celsius! I slept with the windows open at night, and people were shouting and cars were driving outside all night, making it generally noisy. 5. There's a TV in the room, but it's just decoration because the Wi-Fi also works as an air conditioner. These are the downsides I can think of, plus there are a bunch more, like the lack of a refrigerator, the staff's manners, etc. Compared to other hotels, the Sultanat is on par with some of the excellent hotels in the city. In short, I'll never choose this hotel again.
