This is an older hotel. Our room was a decent size – a little dated, but OK, and acceptably clean. There was no place for toiletries in the bathroom; there was just a single towel bar (need more) and the shower head was designed for people over 7 feet tall. Towels were scratchy and the sheets on the very hard bed were rough. The A/C worked well, but made odd crackling noises. There was a lovely terrace on the roof with nice views. Breakfast was OK – nothing special, but got the job done. Staff was lovely – very nice and helpful. Good location right next to Tamerlane’s mausoleum and walking distance to a number of sights.

When we first pulled up to this hotel, we were so impressed with how beautiful it was and how it was next door to a magnificent mosque and madrassa complex. We walked into the lobby. It was delightful. We were so lucky to have found this wonderful hotel so close to the mosque. Then we got to our room. From that point on, everything went downhill. There wasn’t enough storage space, the bed was uncomfortable, there weren’t enough outlets. The tissues were the size of miniature napkins. And worst of all, the shower head holder was broken and the nozzle fell on the floor after my husband wrenched his shoulder trying to reach it. It was installed with a seven footer in mind. Breakfast was meager and there was no omelet station. Other than that, everything was perfectly fine.

The staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was questionable. Staff doesn't seem to understand that some foods must be refrigerated. The room was fine. The TV mostly didn't work.

There was no car to pick me up from the station, so I took a taxi. The local staff at the travel agency contacted me and allowed me to check in even though it was before noon. The room was cute and clean, and the Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked well. It was conveniently located within walking distance of major tourist attractions. I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk staff was very kind and I was very happy. It was one of my most memorable experiences in Uzbekistan.It's a little far from the tourist center, but the staff will help you call a taxi. I would like to use this hotel again when I go to Uzbekistan.

The hotel is well located, the interior is well appointed, the rooms are large and quiet. Despite the goodwill and availability of the staff, some details reflect a lack of knowledge of hotel traditions: no kettle for making tea, no bottled water, no storage (wardrobe with shelf) for clothes. The breakfast is plentiful, varied and of good quality.

For the price they charge, we expected a far better service and comfort. Unfortunately, hotel is old, rooms too hot and matrasses are very hard. Personnel was attentive, however some did not even smile once during our three day stay there. Note that Internationcal Credit cards are not accepted for payment, even though while booking they informed us we can pay with card. Below average breakfast. Great location, in a walking distance to major sightseeing sights.

Hotel is in a great location. Easy walking distance to a lot of the attractions. It is clean and the staff polite. The breakfast had limited choice, so no chance of eating too much.
