Hotel Bekh in Samarkand

This place feels more like a small guesthouse than a regular hotel. There is no hotel sign yet, and the building itself is still partially unfinished, so arriving for the first time can be a little confusing. But the location is already properly listed on both Yandex Maps and Google Maps, making it still quite easy to find. It is also only around 1.2 km from Registan Square, so walking there is very manageable.

The staff were extremely kind and responsive throughout the stay. They spoke English well and were easy to contact, which was especially helpful since I arrived around midnight. Despite the late arrival, the check-in process was smooth and stress-free.

I booked a double room, which did not have a private bathroom and instead used a shared one. The room itself was spacious and clean, although the bed was a bit firm. The hotel also has a shared kitchen, which was very useful during the stay.

Overall, a comfortable stay with very kind staff, especially for travelers looking for a more budget-friendly option.

Close to Registan. Excellent place. Has everything you need.

The young stuff was unbelievably kind and polite. The day after my stay, I needed to leave Samarkand late at night to catch an overnight train to Khiva. Even after the check-out, the hotel helpfully let me take a shower and rest in a room for free. Their hospitality was incredible.

For a possible guest, note that there is no single room with an individual bathroom. Additionally, the breakfast was not available during my stay (paid back for this👍).

Overall, I strongly recommend the stay here to boost your wonderful journey in Samarkand.

Room
The hotel rooms were very clean and nice.
The bathrooms, especially the shared showers, had poor drainage.

Location
The main tourist attractions are within walking distance.
Restaurants are also within walking distance.
The hotel entrance is quite difficult to find, so please refer to the attached photo.

Staff
The staff were very kind and helpful.
