Negligent Hotel – Beware of Hidden Legal Trouble

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel in Tashkent. As a foreign tourist, I relied on the hotel to handle the mandatory registration of my stay with the local authorities – a basic responsibility that every hotel in Uzbekistan is expected to fulfill. Shockingly, they failed to do so, and as a direct result I had to spend half a day at the local visa office, was pressured into signing forms in a foreign language and eventually fined by the authorities.

This was not just an inconvenience; it was a serious breach of duty that caused me unnecessary stress, wasted time, and financial loss. The hotel’s negligence shows a complete disregard for the well‑being of international guests.

If you are a foreign traveller, I strongly urge you to avoid this hotel. Their lack of professionalism and failure to meet legal obligations could put you at risk of fines and legal issues. There are plenty of other hotels in Tashkent that respect their guests and follow the law – choose one of them instead.
