Where to stay in Tashkent

Excellent hotel, the owner is friendly, our room had access to the veranda, in the evening you can sit at the tables and watch the hustle and bustle of the city, everything is very decent and clean, thank you!

It's about a 10-minute walk from the exhibition hall; just around the corner.

Everything is top notch. In my opinion, this is the best hotel in all of Tashkent. 1000 out of 5 stars.

The location is a little out of the way, but it's very quiet. The hotel facilities are complete, the only downside is that the rooms are a bit small! The breakfast is good. The price-performance ratio is relatively good.

The hotel staff were very nice, and the rooms were quite clean, with daily housekeeping. Overall, it was a good experience. There was also a free spa, but unfortunately, I didn't have time to try it.

Movenpick is very modern hotel and situated very well in old town near Metro Station, one of the Tashkent tourist highlights, stop at every metro station to admire interior design. You can install Yandex (car ride app) and visit the Centre for Islamatic Civilization, that provide good story telling of the history of Central Asia.

1. The MUR (Make Up Room) button in the room either didn’t work or was ignored by the staff, as the room wasn’t cleaned once during our three-day stay and the towels weren’t changed. 2. The Wi-Fi in the hotel leaves much to be desired. In the room, the Wi-Fi signal was barely there and was only available in certain areas. It’s strange to see this in a new hotel. Nice new hotel. Clean room, one had a loose fossset, but overall very nice. Staff know English. Breakfast was rich, omlets were meh... 30 minutes in the early morning till the airport. Has spa, very good massage. Has a pool and a gull gim. For it's price in that region could have been a bit better but compared to same price with say Milan way better...

It's a newly opened neat and clean Hotel. Staffs here are all very young and energetic and always willing to help and assist with anything needed at any time round the clock. Especially staff name Muhammed was super nice.

We had a very nice stay in Tashkent. The hotel is only about 30 minutes from the airport and is located close to many attractions, which made moving around the city very convenient. The pool was clean and enjoyable, and the rooms are spacious enough to fit three kids comfortably, which is a big plus for families. It definitely feels like more than a 3-star hotel. The place is quite remote, the environment is good, but the room is small. There was a short circuit in the wires in the middle of the night and I was choked. It was a bit dangerous. Later, the hotel did not arrange for someone to repair it, nor did they change the room.

It is a cozy hotel. It has clean rooms and complete amenities. They have wide selection in breakfast buffet and their restaurant has a great ambiance. The reception staff are also polite and very good in customer service. The location is great. Highly recommended for solo travelers.

Booked this hotel for my parents for their anniversary holiday and they loved it! Said the staff were very nice, even made a special surprise for them, they loved also the rooftop bar. Definitely recommended if you’re going to Tashkent. They loved the burger so much that even brought one back home with them :)

A modern and very functional hotel. The room was small, with no fridge or kettle, and almost no room to store luggage, but it had good Wi-Fi, a smart TV, and good air conditioning. It has a terrace bar with great views. The breakfast is complete and varied.

I booked this hotel for a colleague on a business trip. It seems pretty good. I'm giving it a positive review out of habit. I'll ask for feedback before my next business trip, and if it's good, I'll book here again.

I visited again due to my schedule and stayed one more day. There is also a sauna on the lower floor of the pool. Bring your swimsuit in advance and enjoy it. It is open until 11pm so you have plenty of time.

Go outside and cross the street. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes. There are also many places with good value. The building is located slightly off the main street, so it's relatively quiet. The breakfast is decent. Of course, it's buffet style. Be sure to check if breakfast is included. The price for one night at the hotel is also reasonable. Highly recommended.

Didn't get off to the best start: I was given a room key that didn't work (twice), only to find out that the room I was supposed to be in was already occupied by an (understandably) angry young lady. It was a beautiful hotel with a stylish interior. We booked two rooms on Trip.com, but there was a problem when only one room was booked. We checked later and found that they had forgotten to reserve the room, but there was no apology, which was disappointing. We were made to wait another 10 minutes at the front desk, which was disappointing.

Pleasant surprise: a new, clean, comfortable hotel for about $50 a night. Located in a sprawled part of town, but if carless, location is walkable to all type conveniences and restaurant options. We loved staying at the Aster. Very convenient for transport ( 30 mins, 20k som from train, and 15 mins 15k som to airport). In a quiet area on a quiet street yet 10 mins or so, walk to restaurants , cafes and bars. Walkable to Oybek metro , if you want to tour the subway stations. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent and well worth the price. It's served individually when there are few people, and a buffet when there are more; each has its advantages and disadvantages. The hotel receptionists and housekeeping staff were very friendly, and I would definitely stay here again. Of course, Ctrip's service was also very good; they helped resolve the room change issue pleasantly.

Just a 10-15 minute drive from the airport, this standalone building was easy to find. My second-floor room had a terrace with a nice street view. The staff were all very friendly. I had to leave before breakfast started on my second day, and they even packed a breakfast for me. There's a supermarket, a restaurant, and a liquor store downstairs from the hotel restaurant, so it's quite convenient.

The room was lovely. Corner room with balcony and very clean. Staff are helpful generally though one or two of the male staff are a bit surly and seem to only help reluctantly. Breakfast decent enough.

An acceptable hotel in terms of its location and the quality of the breakfast, but somewhat less so regarding soundproofing and noise from other guests. The establishment is very clean and well-maintained with a very welcoming reception. The presence of an elevator is a welcome feature.

We spent a night at this quite new hotel before we went back home. We chose the hotel due to its proximity to the airport (but within 10 km there is a lot other) and due to its very good prices for a really good hotel.

Great value hotel, I had an excellent experience. It's newly built, rooms are clean. I would recommend the hotel to add a shelf at the mirror in the bathroom as there is no room for make-up, toiletries, etc. I didn't have a mini-fridge in the room, also would be great to add. Staff is really awesome though, super helpful. I'll be staying here next time I'm in Uzbekistan. Thank you!

I booked a hotel for my husband back in 2023. We were greeted warmly, clean, and comfortable. They fed us well, and instead of an alarm clock, they woke us up in the morning. The price wasn't exactly cheap, but it was worth it—it was clean and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
