The room was adequate, but the location just outside the West Gate was perfect. Breakfast and the hotel staff were both excellent .

We actually found this to be a more than suitable clean and friendly staff hotel. The best part about this is that it is located immediately opposite the old city and therefore in an ideal position to begin the exploration of the wonderful sites of Khiva.

Very comfy beds and duvets. The hotel is very well localised. We managed to walk everywhere by foot. The only issue we had was broken hair dryer. However everything else was good and clean.

Good prices and location, there many Topchan for a pleasant dinner. Almost no dishes go up to 20000 sun. Service is quite committed. Anyway a bit slow and as well as in other restaurant don't expect the dishes to arrive at the same time. French fries are good but the portion is small. 15% tips as service included, as well as all the uzbeck restaurant.

Excellent simple hotel in a great location in the center of Itchan Kala, the walled old city oh Khiva. Comfortable rooms, super friendly staff, good breakfast. Free wifi, sometimes slow, but this is normal in the country. Do not miss an early morning or sunset walk in the city, when the shops are.closed and the light is great.

Basic hotel. Room walls are so thin, you can hear the people talking or snoring in the adjacent room.. I book only one night to stay not far from the airport for an early morning flight and the price was very good

Retired couple on a Silk Road tour, stayed here two nights while we did the round trip to the Aral Sea. (You should fly closer, it was a 16 hour day long drive from here). Hotel was fine. Shower stall is a bit of a big step up. Clean and safe, which is what you want in a hotel. Large room, but we had the suite with double beds.

Different room categories to fit different budgets. Excellent service by very friendly personnel, which alone would be a reason to stay. Newly opened, there may be some glitches.

Spacious room with clean and new furniture. The view was nice, you can see Itchan Khala from the window which is amazing. And it’s a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is no lift and the man from the reception helped us with our bags. We could not download yandex to get to the airport so the lady from the reception ordered us a car from her app.

However, the wifi stopped working at about 5pm, shortly after we checked in. This is s small, friendly hotel. Not a luxury site but comfortable and in a great location within the old town. The rooms are large with decent bathrooms. There is a pleasant choikhana for outdoor eating. We had a great stay here and would love to return.

The hotel is very well located in the old town, and quiet. The staff are welcoming. The rooms are a little dated but clean. Air conditioning works really well. However, there are no bottles of water in the rooms, no kettle, no safe, and the shower is not very powerful. The towels are scratchy and like cardboard. It's a nice hotel, but there's no toothbrush or toothpaste, no shower gel. There was no trash can in the room. The Wi-Fi is also very poor, with poor reception in the rooms. The hallway is fine, with plenty of sofas.

It’s very close to the old town, it’s right in front of the main gate. It looks very modern and the rooms are good. Good breakfast. The cleaning wasn’t 100% and also it’s way too expensive for what it is. It’s still just a hotel, nothing special so the price was a bit outrageous. Also no mini-fridge in the rooms is a minus in the summer heat, you can’t even have cold water.

We had a very good experience at Allanazar Ota Hotel! The rooms are clean, warm (in winter time) and confortable. The breakfast is very good with a lot of choices fruits etc. The owner is also very nice and really willing to help you during your stay! Location is excellent, I can only recommand!

Alibek B&B has a fantastic location, right opposite the main wall of the Ichan Kala, which is just a 3 minute walk away. We bunked with 3 other travellers. The rooms were reasonably big, and this is a great budget stay for backpackers. The highlight is the breakfast, which was easily the best we had in Uzbekistan. This hostel is OK. Great location, the staff are friendly, and the beds are comfortable. However when I woke up for breakfast, no staff were to be seen. The bathroom situation is not great, and there was no hot running water. I could not find any amenities like a kettle, nor was anything offered upon arrival.

The location was very good. Terrace area and the view will give good feel. Breakfast and eating area was awesome. All staffs are smiley faces on all time. I was completely feel safe as I am travelling with family including two kids aging 2 & 4. And they made me check in time flexible to enter very early.

Amazing stay in Khiva. The place is very well situated in front of the main entrance of the town. The hospitality of the family is beyond, owner’s son Shahbos speaks good English. The day tour he arranged for us to the castles, Nukus and Moynak was unforgettable!

Everything was perfect! Location, kindness, breakfast…We had to leave early and they accommodate our request to have breakfast at 6.30. The position is just the best. Clean rooms, delicious meals, and strategic location near the Bakcha Darvaza (Garden Gate = دروازه باغچه) and the West Gate: Ota-Darvoza (Father Gate). Moreover, staffs are very kind and respectful. Also, they speak perfectly English, Russian, Turkish, Uzbek, and (some) Italian languages.
