Smile Hotel in Hanoi

We arrived at this hotel in Hanoi and we were greeted by a young girl, who had a lack of customer service skills. We were polite and smiley however we didn’t receive that back. She simply handed us the keys and that was it. No showing us to the room or telling us the room number, we had to figure it all out ourselves. We also weren’t told that the water wasn’t free so we were greeted with a charge at the end of the stay. The room was clean however the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. The bed was comfy which was a plus. All rooms are next to the lift, which is loud and makes constant noises all night long. Overall I couldn’t necessarily recommend this hotel as our stay wasn’t overly pleasant, however this is personal opinions!

Decenr value for money, but the cleaning lady kicked us out almost 2 hours before our check out time, an unexpectedly got charged for water at the end also. Barking dogs outside also

This is not a 3 star hotel, it's a hostel (Agoda and other booking websites show it as a hotel so we got the wrong impression). Bad smell in the lobby and lift area (luckily not in the room). Wet bathroom (no seperation from toilet to shower, everything gets wet). They charge for using small water bottles in the fridge (lol). Not recommended.
