I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and customer service at this hotel.
Due to a genuine mistake, I accidentally booked this property thinking it was located in Hoi An, not Hanoi. I realized my error within 10 minutes and immediately reached out to the hotel to explain the situation and request a cancellation or a partial refund.
Despite my immediate efforts to contact them:
• Total Silence: They never replied to my emails or messages.
• No Acknowledgement: They didn't even have the courtesy to say "sorry, we can't cancel."
• No Follow-up: Even after I didn't show up for the check-in, there was zero communication from their side.
I understand that "non-refundable" policies exist, but the complete refusal to even engage in a conversation with a customer who reached out 10 minutes after booking is poor business practice. They were happy to take my money without providing a single word of service.
I would not recommend booking here if you value a hotel that actually communicates with its guests.

This hotel stay marked the end of my unpleasant experience on my Vietnam trip.

I stayed at this hotel for the last two nights of my 11-day Vietnam tour. I think no guest wants to stay overnight in the same place, especially having to change rooms the next day (from Hotel A to Hotel B).

1. This indirectly disrupted my travel itinerary. The next day, I had to get up at a certain time to pack my luggage and re-check into another hotel. An entire morning was wasted because of this.

2. The hotel overbooked rooms, yet we, the consumers, had to bear the cost.

What's infuriating is that while the hotel claimed to have no rooms, the online booking platform continued to accept bookings and charge fees.

3. I booked an executive room, but the room we were given was a cramped, two-star room (just big enough for a double bed). There was practically no extra space; the bed was only about 30 centimeters from the wall, serving as a walkway. When using the toilet, my knees were almost touching the opposite wall.

4. Upon discovering the problem, I inquired why, despite booking two executive suites (25 square feet each), we were given a room of approximately 10 square feet. The only response was that they had no other rooms available and asked us to be patient for one day; they would change us back to the original executive suite the next day. (For clarification, an executive suite generally refers to a larger suite, one level above a suite.)

5. I questioned why they accepted the reservation and collected payment if they had no rooms available. I requested a refund, but they kept claiming the manager was unavailable and unable to issue a refund.

6. Breakfast had very few options. While it stated that we could order à la carte and they would prepare it in advance, and there were indeed some freshly cooked dishes, it felt inferior to the 35,000 Vietnamese dong street food stalls next door.

I find it hard to understand how such a terrible hotel could have received a 4-star rating. This is so fake. The hotel offered absolutely no apology or compensation for this mistake. It's ridiculous that they only let us check in the next day (because we were supposed to stay in the right room). I paid for two executive suites for two nights, but I only got to stay in one executive suite and one night in a small room without a window in a two-star hotel.

I had went to Hanoi for the 1st time and on my own. The location was perfect to explore areas of Old Quarter District of Hanoi, within a short walking distance to Railway Street and the street full of pubs/bars. Rachel, Helene and all front desk staff were extremely helpful, while all the other staff were great too. I had booked 3 days at first but chose to extend my stay. With some discounts from trip.com it was an absolute bargain. The laundry service was nice and cheap and they also arranged a taxi to take me to the airport.

Hotel staff are super friendly. They give full support to whatever I need in Hanoi. As for me, I order airport transfer from hotel to airport in the early morning, and they found me a very comfortable car.
Breakfast is very good. So many options of food and drinks. My room is spacious. It feels very homey.

First of all, I booked this hotel,,,but the Reception told me they didn't receive my booking... 💁🤷🏻♂️ (this is not my mistake as I shown my booking with Confirmation Letter that I received from Trip.com) and then LATER they found my reservation and told me my booking is in JUNK mail that's why they can't see my reservation... (IS THIS MY Problem?) by the way all room are fully booked & they transferred us to their sister hotel...

I accepted this offer because I was so tired and need a room as soon as possible 🥲 and a room from their SISTER Hotel is not really bad & staff is friendly and very helpful.

Overall, I am OKAY! But this situation shouldn't be happening?

The room is clean, there is a security box, the location is good in the old town, and breakfast is included.
However, the amount of water in the shower is a little noisy.

After that, a problem arose and it became a hassle.

I'll probably go to a different hotel next time.

Honestly, I can't say it's pretty. The toilet didn't flush well and the bath towels were dark and dirty. But they called me a taxi at a cheap price and took good care of my luggage, so the price wasn't too expensive so I could forgive.

The service staff was very enthusiastic. It was very hot when I checked in that afternoon. I immediately handed over ice-cold towels and drinks🥹The room was very clean. I am very demanding about cleanliness. There was no rustling feeling when I stepped on the floor with my bare feet. It was great🫶🏼 Although the decoration of the hotel is relatively old, overall the price/performance ratio is very high👏👏

The place is great location in the old city, the hotel offers good food menu also when you go out the building so many food outside everywhere. The room is maintained clean comfortable. The staff is very welcoming and friendly Specially the owner Ms Hein they very helpful just asked anything you need. I highly recommend the hotel will definitely add to my remember to stay list in the future once I come back HaNoi.
