Hanoi Valley Boutique Hotel & Travel in Hanoi

First of all the good points :
- the staff was great and the friendliest I've had in Vietnam, above other hotels without the typical habit of selling you stuff at any cost.
-cheap (20ish) but couldn't justify the condition of the room.
-included Vietnamese breakfast as everywhere. Quality so so but it's there so enjoy.
-the location was good and near the nightlife of hang bac and hang be.

But comes the bad part :
-single glazed window was a nightmare. Add the fact that there was a construction site across the street (which has nothing to do with the hotel).
-we've been apparently upgraded from regular to deluxe room and I can't imagine what the regular room looks like.
-REALLY outdated room and dirty bathroom check pictures(note : the pictures were taken before checkout)

Worst hotel of the planet...
They changed the room three times when we checked in. Rooms are dirty, smelly, old and AC was not working. Bathroom tiles was broken and it was in very bad condition. Location is very crowded and dirty. There was a night club behind the hotel you will not able to sleep by the sound.
My plan got changed at the last hour requested them to waive the fees and will ignore the bad experiences. But they did not listened really unprofessional..

Our stay was outrageous. At the beginning they ask as to canceled our reservation in booking for an upgrade (because we can cancel for free that says and we will “earn booking commission” -bad call for me because now I cannot rate there there.
The unbelievable thing is that is a music club in the back off the hotel that working 24/7 in the weekend so it’s was noisy all night. And each our that we call to the reception they told us 15 minutes it’s will end, it’s because of the weekend ect.
Also it’s very old hotel.
