1. Vincent was very hospitable, he gave us tips and recommendations on where to go and eat. Very very helpful.

2. I need to give a thumbs up to the The ladies who cleans the room everyday. They leave the room squeaky clean all the time.

3. Food options in the buffet are minimal but they taste good.

4. Location is good. You can walk around the old Quarter easily find a good coffee shop around.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Serene Boutique. Everything was amazing starting from the first contact when we initially booked the hotel. The staff are really helpful and very friendly. A special mention to Alice and Tony who helped to make our experience really enjoyable. They helped with altering the booking so we could stay and extra day, arranging taxis to and from airports and Halong Bay as well as answering every question that we had and giving advice on what to do, where to go and how to get around. The hotel is in a great location, with lots to do in the surrounding area. It's a shortwalk to the weekend night market. Hoan Kiem Lake is about a 10 minute walk, as is the water puppet show. There's loads of amazing food available all around. If you need a supermarket there's a small CircleK at the end of the street. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and a safe. Slippers and robes were provided. The bathroom was a good size with shower gel and shampoo provided. Breakfast was on the top floor and was delicious and varied. We really enjoyed our stay here and would come back again.

To be honest felt a bit cat fished by this hotel. Had a lovely warm welcome from the lady at reception. However, when we entered our room, the first thing we saw was signs of rising damp in the corner, we even moved the big arm chair so it wouldn’t be in eyesight. The breakfast…numerous staff chatting at the bar areas and not refilling the empty food stations, in the end we decided to eat out for breakfast most days. It is in a great location, however the chaos of Hanoi traffic can get a bit much.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Serene Boutique Hotel & Spa! The hotel is perfectly located in the Old Quarter, within walking distance to all major sights, restaurants, and shops. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and the breakfast was delicious and varied. A special thanks to Tony at the reception, who went above and beyond to help us with cancellations and new bookings for both flights and hotels. Always friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful – he truly deserves 10 out of 10! We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great value, central, and welcoming place to stay in Hanoi.

Just had a the most incredible stay at Serene Boutique Hotel and Spa. All staff are so friendly and welcoming, a special thank you to Tony who made our stay so memorable, he gave us so much information and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are spotlessly clean,beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was varied and lots of choice. Highly recommended

Fabulous hotel in a great location. We were greeted by the wonderful My whose english was fantastic and her smile and enthusiasm was equally as fab! Our room (with balcony) was large and very clean. Air con and WiFi worked extremely well Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was great the girls who served us were lovely always smiling! Location of hotel was great just a few minutes walk to the centre of the old quarter, somewhere we spent a lot of time. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes near to the hotel along with mini marts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay , we would highly recommend and would love to revisit in the near future.

Hotel has great location. Good value for money. Just don’t expect luxury. Customer service was just ok, and probably sub-par for Vietnamese standards. But to use just as a base for daily excursions, breakfast and a bed to sleep in I would recommend.

Myself and my partner stayed in the Serene Boutique Hotel in Hanoi a couple of months ago and it was a wonderful experience. The location was great, situated in the old quarter and within walking distance to alot of tourist attractions - ie. Note Coffee, Water Puppet Theatre, and nice restaurants. The service from the staff members was exceptional. We had an amazing receptionist named Minh who went above and beyond to make sure we got the most out of our stay. He helped us plan out our itinerary for the week and booked all of our trips and transfers which was incredibly helpful. We stayed in Hanoi for 3 days but also did tours to Ninh Binh, Ha Giang (Loop) & Ha Long Bay. The hotel allowed us to store our luggage in the hotel between trips which was fantastic. The tours organised by Minh were incredible and this whole week was certainly the highlight of our Vietnam trip so far! Thank you to Minh and all of the incredible staff here for being so welcoming, accommodating and for being incredibly helpful during our stay. We are very grateful and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. 10/10 service! 🌟

Great hotel in the centre of Hanoi. All tourist attractions, bars, restaurants etc. pretty much within walking distance. Unbelievable value for money. The service provided prior and throughout our stay was fantastic, big shout out to Alice who went above and beyond assisting us with our travel plans. She arranged airport pick up, discounted spa treatment, 2 days 1 night Halong Bay cruise, sleeper coach tickets to Sapa, and 24/7 assistance via WhatsApp! Could not fault any of the bookings, they were exactly as described. Also shout out to Tony on reception who couldn’t do enough for you. He directed us to the best shop for exchanging money. Highly recommend staying here!

I would like to take this opportunity to express my thanks to the staff Alice who arranged our complete trip.ours is 10 days trip and we visited Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Ninh Binh and Sapa.this hotel is located at old quarters old which is very near to most of all the attractions in hanoi and you will get everything near by. We were 2 families with kids and worried how we are going to manage the complete trip. But she made our trip worry free as she arranged everything from airport pickup to airport drop in perfect order so we did not stuck anywhere for anything.From transport, food and English speaking guide all were perfect. She helped us to book a wonderful cruise, it’s ambiance and food is awesome. Next she arranged one day trip to Ninh Binh which is very nice and then finally to sapa. As a whole this trip is so memorable one. Thanks Alice for making our trip wonderful and memorable one.
