Hotel Nguyen Toan in Phu Quoc Island

It’s a cheap hotel, nothing terrible to say about it, except for the fact that they chain their dog up at the entrance every single day under the heat. The dog has very very limited movements, only enough space to drink water from the bowl, and I barely see the dog getting fed (only once). The dog is bored as hell and suffers great heat every single day, hiding behind the motorbike to get some shade from the strong sun. I spoke to the owner about it and she just ignored my comments. It’s so super cruel, breaks my heart every time I come back to the hotel. The dog basically lives in that small space and doesn’t ever get to move around. The dog is also super skinny. My heart breaks for the dog.

Why own a dog if you just want to chain it up and not let it have fun?? This is just torture. The dog barely gets to walk around all day. I am so so furious.

Whenever I went to pet the dog, the dog would get super happy and you can tell that the dog has a lot of love to give, but no one to give it to. My heart breaks every time I think about it.
