Where to stay with kids in Phu Quoc Island

Perhaps it's just the local vibe, but they weren't overly enthusiastic, though you'd occasionally find some friendly staff. However, if you had a request, they could generally sort it out

Our stay with children was quite disappointing as the hotel is far from family-friendly

This lack of communication and poor noise control completely ruined our accommodation experience, and we hope the hotel can attach great importance to these issues and improve them for families with children

This is the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at on Phu Quoc Island. The room was very clean and spacious, with all the necessary amenities, and you could even iron clothes

Lahana is an amazing hotel! This is a rare case when in reality everything looks and is even better than on the website

The ambiance is lovely, with fragrant frangipani trees adding to the pleasant atmosphere. The pool is large, clean, and 1. 2m deep, open from 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Facilities: Personally, I think they're just average, don't expect too much! Cleanliness: It's okay, not great but not bad either! Environment: Decent, the room has a balcony facing the pool! Service: Just average! Breakfast wasn't great! It's very close to the beach, you can walk or take a tram, which costs 12 RMB (self-paid)

The family room was essentially a standard room with a connecting door to a double room. The facilities were comparable to a typical hotel in China

This hotel does not have a clothes dryer on the balcony, and it is prohibited. The fine for drying clothes on the balcony is 80,000 VND per item. You must sign a consent form upon check-in

But hotel’s guests became worse then earlier, a lot of people from Kazakhstan with terrible manners, with a lot of children with terrible manners, very aggressive and noisy, they are walking everywhere in swimming suits, even inside the hotel, on reception and etc It’s a reason for us to find another place with more calm people without big groups of Kazakhstan people

We were given free upgrade to suite. My trip 2nd day breakfast was great! The location is beside ******, night entertainment is covered.  Overall massage, avocado and coconut ice cream was very nice in Phu Quoc. 😊

Fantastic ambiance, and the shuttle service to and from the hotel was incredibly convenient! The front desk staff were very patient and helpful. Since we booked for three nights, they even upgraded our room and meals

They arranged a room with three beds for us. There was a small stain on one of the pillows, but otherwise, it was pretty good. The breakfast was very plentiful, and the service was excellent

There are many free shuttles to Phu Quoc Grand World, the night market, and the airport, but you need to book them in advance. The beach is also nice, with lots of activities

Resort credit for meals is a good deal. There is a marina with good local dishes 5 minutes along the beachside walk, which we really recommend. Overall recommend if you are not absolutely anal about hygiene

The hotel facilities are very comprehensive; even after checking out, there are still public amenities like the kids' club, a pool with public showers, a game room, and a lounge where you can pass the time, which was a huge plus

The Sea Shack restaurant had a lot of flies, and the breakfast was basic. Overall, the environment is excellent, and the service is warm

Stayed here for my last night of trip in phu quoc because I’d visited the aura beach club a number of times during my stay on the island. I was so impressed by the beach club and service that I thought I’d treat myself

Breakfast was comprehensive if a little oddly laid out… My only real “negative” feedback: —my shower kept flooding - the drain didn’t go down quick enough so had to have super quick showers

Although it is bit isolated, it is close to the beach 3 min walk and the sea view from top floor gives you the best sun set views! we had the room on 8F and it was breathtaking to watch sunset while there was someone paragliding at the sea and we watched it against the deep red sky in the evening…:) I loved the hospitality of the staff, they really made me feel like king! language was not a barrier...

Good neighborhood. The main advantage is the large rooms! The beach is nearby. Our flight was rescheduled, so we happily spent the day at the beach and by the pool, leaving our belongings at the hotel.

For the price we paid the hotel was great. The pool was big and very quiet. The room was big and the view was amazing. A few things that could be improved, we wanted food around the pool but there was no menu

They upgraded us to an executive suite which was huge and had a very nice jacuzzi in the bathroom. Great view and close to the night market for food, drinks and shopping!

I heard that hotels in Phu Quoc are attractions in themselves even before I arrived, and the JW Marriott definitely proved that to be true. It's truly beautiful, and there are people taking pictures everywhere you look

This trip to Phu Quoc, both hotels I stayed at charged me for an extra bed, but then didn't actually provide it. Marriott compensated me with a food voucher, so that was a minor hiccup

The resort has private beach, specially nice view pool and restaurant. We were free upgraded to the villa area because the building is still in the construction. We will come back when it is finished all

My only minor gripe was that the room door was always a bit tricky to open, taking a while each time. Also, the beach was pretty much taken over by Caucasians, and I couldn't find an empty beach chair on the first day

Best Western has two sections: a villa area and a hotel area. Both are very close to the night market, making it super convenient for food, drinks, massages, and foot reflexology

However, the villa area is a bit of a walk from the beach; even with the shuttle service, you still need to stroll a short distance

A great hotel for families! The rooms are well-equipped with excellent facilities, and the private pool is a lot of fun. Service was always prompt whenever we needed anything, and the hotel breakfast was delicious.

I felt very relaxed while visiting the island. There are full day tours of the islands and great options too! My family decided not to participate in any tours because we wanted to relax on the island instead

Staff are amazing, very friendly and would go above and beyond if you need anything and a very big swimming pool too. Buffet breakfast are also amazing with lots of different food

I would say on the overall it was ok for the price and for my kids to experience a pool villa, but the entire Vinpearl complex is dated and kinda eerie. Staff were helpful and nice

The pool water was also a bit dirty, with quite a lot of dead bugs in it. The main pool was also small for a hotel this scale

What could be better than an incredible dinner on the beach? Oh, how about dinner on the beach with a live DJ AND a fire show!! Delicious food, outstanding ambiance- a must-do experience! Amazing place to stay with your family. I took a Villa and it was a nice experience with the pool right outside our window, breakfast is excellent!

As our villa was at the end so it was liked a private pool to ourselves. The beaches weren’t too good as waves were so big and we found out two big drainages were leading to the sea from the villa

Tourist buses parked near the reception spew fumes onto guests by the pool; they should be moved as there's plenty of parking elsewhere. The breakfasts were ample and tasty, and our clothes were laundered well

The hotel is definitely run-down and doesn't live up to a 4-star rating; it barely even reaches some 3-star standards. Breakfasts are varied, but they don't always restock items, so it's best to go around 8 AM
