Tang Thanh Phat Resort in Phu Quoc Island

Warning!!! I got scammed by them!!
I arrived at 12:45pm to the location Agoda showed that the hotel is.
I found it but I did not see anyone around so I left for lunch near by and came back at 2pm and did not find anyone but a business card that showed me a phone number that I was able to fall but the person who answered did not speak English and hanged up the call.
After that I crossed the road to a store near by to ask help from a local person using a translator to speak in Vietnamese to the person from the hotel by phone.
On the first phone call he said "we're booked already", then I explained the lady who helped me that I have already booked already several weeks ago. She called again.
On the second phone call the guy replied "we're not doing business anymore, we're closed".
After that I found another lady inside the hotel place that she confirmed that they stopped working as a hotel.
All of this had to be communicated through a translator application from my phone.
I'm very disappointed about this and caused me more stress because we now had to find another place to stay in this season of the year where is the most complicated to find because all of the hotels are fully booked.

They stealed my money.

This used to be a beautiful, clean hotel. Now it's a filthy place. First, they tried to put us in a dirty room, completely smoke-stained, with an ashtray full of cigarette butts.
Then they put us in a dirty room, the only thing clean was the bed linen. The windows were covered in cobwebs. The bathroom was in terrible condition. There was no hot water.
No one cleans the grounds.
There's no one at the reception; you have to walk a long way to find someone.
I highly recommend this hotel to no one.
I'm an experienced traveler, and I want to protect you from such a terrible hotel. Thank you.

I came to that resort a week ago, having seen on a hotel booking website that a room was available. First of all, I must say that I was greeted by a dog roaming around the property. That was a scary encounter. Then, there was no receptionist at the reception. I waited, but no-one was coming. I then resorted to walking around the premises, hoping to find an employee.
Having finally found someone, I was told that there were no rooms available. When I pointed out that a room was even offered right now on one of the hotel booking websites, the employee told me that that information wasn't current.
All in all, I wasted money on the taxi and came there for nothing.

Room 101, where we stayed, was damp and moldy, smelled very bad and got worse during the night. We were not able to sleep. Worse room we've been.
