The cleanliness, environment and breakfast were excellent. However, when we checked out of the resort, some staff members treated us badly. They charged us additional money for items we did not use. I suggest that if you stay there, you should return the room during the day shift.

It's a budget hotel, so we didn't have high expectations. The plumbing was old, the water pressure was weak, and there was no hot water periodically. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room and throughout the hotel grounds, but no mosquito repellent was provided. Ants and lizards crawled into the room. The ceiling was covered in spiders, and we found a centipede on the floor (pictured). But the worst thing was, an hour or two after checking in, a rat ran across the ceiling! It ran around the perimeter of the room, showed its snout, and ran into a hole in the ceiling. We really wanted to change hotels after this, but it's hard to find hotels available before New Year's. A hotel employee closed the hole in the room itself (pictured). However, the bathroom ceiling was made of planks with large cracks (pictured), and every time I opened the bathroom door, I was terrified to see a rat still there. On the plus side, the grounds are green, and they provide beach towels. There's a swimming pool. Breakfast is available from 7:30 to 10:00 AM for 150 VND per person. It's basic, no-frills, with three types of fruit, four or five prepared dishes, and they can make an omelet. The beach is a 15-minute walk away, but I wouldn't recommend Ong Lang Beach in December due to the murky water. Khem and Starfish beaches were much better with clear water.

Very nice hotel with pleasant rooms with AC. Helpful and friendly staff who can organise tours and motorbike rental at a good price. Nice breakfast with eggs cooked personally etc. Nice vegetation around rooms and swimming pool area. The Ong lang area is a decent place to stay- plenty of nice restaurants, shops and little streets down to hotels and the local beach. We loved the area and were so pleased not to be in the town and definitely not in one of the fake new resorts that are almost completely empty even though the size of small towns!! We did not know about these before getting here and were so glad not to end up in one by a mistake!! Beware and research your area! This hotel is great and I would stay here again!
