Hiep Thanh Resort

The most kind and friendly owners. They made me and my family feel so at home. The location is awesome. Right next to the night market, and across from delicious crab house. The people make the experience amazing. The owner also does awesome tours of the island since they grew up here.

Finally, after years of travel restrictions, we were able to return to this lovely resort that we have stayed at in the past. This time we selected a bungalow closest to the beach - right above it in fact :) the owners and staff greeted us warmly and made sure we were cared for perfectly throughout the entire one month stay. The resort is located at the best part of the beach and really close to several excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. The cleaning staff kept our room fresh and clean, the front desk ladies were full of great local advice and organized tickets to places on the island to see, and the owners invited us to join their Tet celebrations along with other other guests all like one big family. Our trip was simply excellent and again reminded us of the value of staying with local owners who personally manage their resort at a level of care and warmth for their guests that is just exceptional.

We rented the beach-front bungalow after seeing how beautiful the setting was while walking on the beach. We absolutely highly recommend!

The food here is above and beyond anywhere else--DELICIOUS, big quantity, and good price. Honestly, we had the best food here during our two month trip in Vietnam. There are swings just by the ocean. The staff are helpful and kind. The pool is just right for a late night swim after a day on the beach and in the ocean. You also can't miss this place at night if you go for a stroll on the beach--it is right next to a beautifully lit up palm tree that hangs over the ocean.

Super chilled , beautiful garden, on the beach. Booked it for two nights spent 15 nights in total. When there was a problem in our room like ac stopped working next day they gave the room a new AC . Can't complain

The facilities weren't amazing but they were passable in my opinion, the resort has very quick access to the beach and there were a lot of pretty good restaurants available within walking distance. The staff members were extremely helpful to us throughout our stay and really made the experience better. If you're looking for a mid-range resort I can safely recommend this place.

We've been here 7 times since 2004. Love the staff. Hải (the owner's son) and his wife - Nga are super nice and hospitable folks. Their staff echoes their persona.

Pros: Service is second to none for island stay. Accommodations have improved and increases over the years. Breakfast buffet is definitely plentiful in variety and quality. Location is perfectly right on the beach. The main hotel building and their bungalows are all steps from the beach - the quieter part of the Phu Quốc beaches.

Cons: Rooms could use some updating. Beds are not as comfortable as they ought to be - a bit firm. This once a gem of a hotel is getting popular with a certain demographic of "new" tourists from a certain country (you'll have to find out for yourself). But this is not Hiệp Thành's problem. It's an overall tourism problem to all beach towns in VN (like Nha Trang)

Verdict: The folks of Hiệp Thanh are great. I'd go back everytime.
