We stayed here for 5 nights with breakfast included and it was amazing value for money!! The breakfast was lovely and all fresh. The receptionist/host named Nam was one of the best hosts we’ve ever had and went above and beyond. So informative about local activities and recommendations and booked everything for us, nothing was too much for him and also spoke very good English. Would definitely stay here again if we ever go back to Hoi An.

We booked a 4 night stay here from 15/01/26 but arrived to find an active building site next door of which there has been no advice on either the hotel website or any booking agents. The swimming pool is closed due to the dust from the site and construction starts at 0700hrs in the morning. This work is hoped to be completed in March 26. We were offered a small discount for the inconvenience but we decided it best to relocate to another property. The reception staff were very helpful and polite and the hotel itself is very smart and maintained to a high standard, we were disappointed that we couldn't stay. We have requested *********** advise the owner of lvy Villa to make mention of the building work on their site to be fair to their customers but not sure this will happen hence this post. The staff at the hotel are unhappy about this post as they state it threatens their livelihoods but there has to be a balance between that and.the impact on the unsuspecting customer/guest. I had a wonderful stay at Ivy Villa Hotel. The front desk staff were truly the best I’ve experienced—friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile. The location is just on the outskirts of the old town, which makes it quieter but still easily walkable to all the main attractions. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable rooms that made me feel right at home. A great balance of convenience, comfort, and warm hospitality. Highly recommend! And extremely affordable.

Good location and helpful staff. Although we lost our clothes in the laundry service. The staff tried their best to compensate.

I'm more than pleasantly surprised. Quiet room, friendly staff, good breakfast. Perfect for a solo traveler. The bicycle is free and the TV works. Several cozy coffee shops open until 10 pm.

Comfortable place. My first room had a broken door, but they were very accomodating in getting me a new room. Staff were friendly, but everything was closed and asleep by 11pm. I imagine its because Hoi Ann is a smaller, sleepier town.

Amazing hotel 5***** staff are amazing!!! Free bikes to use, pool , great size room with bath tub can’t fault this hotel my favorite of my travels so far we extended another week , great location

We loved our stay at Ivy Villa. Nam was absolutely the star of the show and we had such an amazing trip thanks to him. He was able to help us book several incredible trips, gave us some fantastic recommendations for tailors and generally went above and beyond for us. I only gave the room 4 stars because during our stay, our bed sheets weren't changed after we spilled tea on them and our mugs weren't changed after been used either but the room was clean and tidy when we first arrived. The location was also incredible and as the hotel offer (very squeaky and broken brakes) free bicycles to cycle into old town, it is so easy to get around and everything is within cycle distance. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Classic food spot... but, if you like the Hoi an chicken on rice they do a good one for cheap. Comes with a nice soup, definitely heading back a few more times.

By the road side, simple eatery offering 5 or 6 items on the menu, (rice / noodle / chicken). They were out of cau lau so I had the chicken rice which was really tasty (30k) and my friend had the chicken pho (30k) which he liked too. They were also out of the grilled chicken leg (60k). Lady owner was watching a local drama on TV but I couldn't gather the plot :)

Only had the cao lao but it's very good and better than many more expensive places.

I work nearby and come often for lunch. A very delicious Cao Lau for VND 30k (vietnamese price is 25 according to my colleagues but being a westerner I could never negotiate it). Surprisingly has an English menu so you won't have problem with ordering. Ate here numerous times and never had any stomach trouble so can recommend as a safe place to try authentic local streetfood.
