Autogrill, Hotel & Restaurant in Gjirokaster

Went here during a bus trip to Greece. I did not enjoy the restaurant. The Greek salad was very bland, and the moussaka was not close to moussaka. The bathrooms were not nice to use. It was very busy and loud. The patio outside was nice though, and a great view of the mountains.

The worst place ever dont eat anything there, overpriced , bad quality , owner and staff very bad !!!!
Dont buy anything there , avoid this place !

We stoped here for u quick lunch before we go to greece. I will not recomend. The prices are very high and the service is very low quality. Imagine paying 1000 leke for 3 meatbowls and 1 rice not cooked well 🤬🤬 very disapointed.

It’s a buffet, they have several dishes which you can choose from. Unfortunately, all of the food four our company of six was cold.
I had the dish with rice and rice-filled bell peppers. The rice was at times undercooked (crunchy) and overcooked (very mushy, goopy) throughout. The seasoning was pretty much non existent. Wouldn’t recommend going here for the food.

If you think you don’t mind cold/possibly bland food and you just want something cheap - this will do the trick, for 30€ we had food for 6 including soft drinks.

The view from their outside sitting area is beautiful and some of the staff know English. They are friendly, the dining place looks clean and the toilets are a free entry.

It's a bus stop. Very busy and noisy place. All night the buses were parked in front with engine running and people chattering.. Mattress was very bad. Shower is good. You can hear people in other rooms. There was cleaning lady in front of my room doing laundry making noise also. I had to get out to check what is the noise.. you can sleep over here but wouldn't recommend

Bad experience. Slept one night with my family of 4+ members and it wasn't a good time spent. First off the staff, mainly a short blonde buzz cut guy, he was very unprofessional and tried multiple to rip us off. Mainly with the food. No menu whatsoever, and depending on your nationality and dialect, the prices change. The staff invited us to dine in and when we asked about the prices, we were cut off short and told that once we eat, we'll receive the facture without knowing the costs of anything. One double bed was very uncomfortable since the coil springs were out of the frame and could hurt the back. One other single bed also had the, same problem whereas the other didn't have any problems. TV signal was not found since there wasn't any cable. The wifi didn't work because there wasn't any signal up where the rooms are located.
In the other hand the air conditioning worked.

Would I recommend the hotel?

Unfortunately, no.
Unless the mattresses are completely changed and unless the staff becomes professional ( mainly the young adults, and yes that one blonde guy), I would suggest to go to an other hotel just near Gjirokastër where you won't be ripped off and sleep well.
