Friendly hosts, affordable, and you can use the kitchen

We stayed from February 4 to February 11, 2024. In the city center, within the Ring Boulevard. Within walking distance of many shops, cafes and restaurants. And many other interesting things - I will not list them

Compact rooms with amenities and very polite staff

The staff was always smiling and friendly. The room didn't have a window, so it felt a bit cramped, but it was clean and the towels were fluffy. The location was also convenient, closer to Republic Square.

The shared bathroom would be fine, but I was unpleasantly surprised that it's a separate building that's constantly ventilated, meaning it's VERY COLD to shower there in the fall

And there's the inconvenience of having to put on shoes and a jacket to go to the bathroom. The bed is a bit "wooden," but it's comfortable. There are shops and a bakery nearby

I was the only guest, so I had the whole house to myself. It had a separate entrance from the street and a beautiful garden. The host, Avik, was very helpful, attentive, polite, and welcoming

Although the house wasn't very clean and cool, it didn't spoil the overall impression. The house is located in a quiet area, yet it's just 5 minutes from the metro

There are very few downsides: poor soundproofing from neighbors, old, creaky beds, and difficulty finding the guesthouse itself, especially if it's your first time and late (Maps

It was cozy, conveniently located, and the owner was friendly and responsive to all our requests, even taking us on an excursion to the mountains and Lake Sevan

There's a 24-hour supermarket nearby with an excellent exchange rate and plenty of bakeries

My friend and I stayed here in the winter of 2017 and really enjoyed the place

Everything is at a very high standard, for a guesthouse like this. The hostess is very welcoming. Most importantly, everything is very clean. I left like I was leaving home

By the way, there's a rooftop terrace where you can sit or lie in the hammock

The guest house we stayed in was warm, well equipped, and within walking distance of the centre of Tsaghkadzor (for restaurants and shops)

I paid around 100$+ per night for 4 people. There is a private unit with 2 bedroom. But room is quite noisy from outside or the room next door

The cottage is comfortable,breakfast food was fresh. You can also bring your food,they have everything you need. Good location,few minutes walk to the city centre and restaurants

The check-in process was easy and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were very nice with comfortable beds. I would recommend this hotel to others and I would stay here again

The rooms and facilities were great. The concierge and reception were always helpful even if they were not immediately able to solve a problem

The host was incredibly welcoming and provided everything we needed. There's a shop nearby where you can pick up wine and groceries. The bed linen was clean, and shower gel, shampoo, and soap were readily available.

It was quiet, peaceful, and most importantly, all the towels and bed linens were clean and smelled nice. We spent the night and went to the airport. I definitely recommend it for short stops

The location is great, very close to the airport, we were met at night and taken to the hotel for free. However, judging by the expression on the face of the person who met us, Russians are not welcome here

The breakfast was nothing for me, but everything you need: porridge, boiled egg, sour cream, 2 pieces of butter, cheese, sausage, jam. I don't eat this for breakfast, but otherwise it was not bad

You have to ring the bell to ask to enter this place. Near from the airport and airport shuttle service is available 24 h. The room is spacious and I liked the very cute cat in the premise

The vibe outside the hostel is great too literally anything you need is just a few steps away, and if you walk about 20 minutes you’ll be right in the city center

I honestly don’t even know how to describe the hostel! Should I start with how cozy and relaxing the place feels, or the super kind and helpful reception, or the most delicious breakfast I’ve ever had? Not to mention the greenery and nature all around

When we first arrived, the place was covered in snow, but after five days, it looked completely different, showcasing a whole new charm. The house itself is perfect for travelers who enjoy walking and exploring the city

My son and I had a wonderful experience staying at JR's House Hotel during our recent trip. The hotel is affordable and offers great value for money, with a delicious breakfast and exceptional customer service

Also, we didn't like the food for breakfast, maybe they have to improve next time. Anyway, the housekeeper is kind

The host is kind but this have no reception, so sometime it's not convenient for connection.

Everything is great, for active tourists, we walked the whole time, 25-30 minutes is not a problem, the breakfasts are delicious, the rooms are clean - thank you very much for everything, we were glad to stay!

I have lived here twice already. Everything is very good: good service, excellent breakfast, cleanliness, good neighbors. The only downside is that it is not very close to the city center.

The hostel is located near the central square, and is in walking distance from most restaurants and shops. But the air is way too hot and humid. I had a hard time breathing inside, and developed a cough

Good location but not a good hostel. The room was incredibly cramped. The top bunk would make noise and rock with slight movement. There was not enough bathrooms and they were often left unclean.

Perhaps because some of them seemed to be living there permanently?… The entire hostel all rooms included was very very hot, humid and moist to be in. There was no security whatsoever

The staff were very Russian and unfriendly. The atmosphere in the hostel was unsettling. People seemed almost insulted if they were spoken to

I stayed for one night, so the price/quality ratio was quite satisfactory. Only payment was in cash, it is not clear why Trip did not allow non-cash payment

The friendly receptionist put me in a better room than I booked. There is a shower, towels, a kitchen. There was even a working air blower in the room

We had a very pleasant stay at Visota 1880. The room was spacious and well laid out, featuring a master bedroom, a small extra room for kids, and a kitchen. The service was friendly, and the breakfast was enjoyable

Every night, they hosted a lovely bonfire with complimentary drinks and light snacks, which made the experience even more special. The restaurant was spotless and the food had that perfect homemade touch

A very picturesque and cozy place where all the details around are made and maintained by the host and his family with big care. The views from the cottages overlooking the forest are amazing

We stayed at Dilivita Rest House for two nights as part of our tour in Dilijan, and it was a delightful experience

They have a tradition to congratulate the guests with a surprise cake on the guests' special occasion if they learn that you are celebrating it during your stay

It was very nice and touching to get a birthday pancake with a candle and when the host and all the staff came to congratulate

I highly recommend the amazing food that Mayra cooked. The best meal I had on this trip. The room had excellent views of the mountains. Liana could not do enough for us. Thank you for the wonderful stay

What i liked in the hotel, that didnt find in most hotels is the set of utensils ready for use at anytimes. For traveller like me, its absolutely convenient, i can buy my food & enjoy in room

Location and room is great! The only negative things is tiny walls and you can hear noise from aisle. Stuff is great, location is in the heart of Yerevan. Recommended

A perfect hotel as a base to explore Yerevan. It’s not fancy, but it has what you need: centrally located, very quiet, clean, efficient. Very good value for money.

The hotel room is amazing, it was an impromtu/walk in booking but the reception happily accepts me, thanks to the availability

Gengik and Karine are amazing hosts! They always offer you a coffee or tea and give you all the tips you need to visit the city. The room I booked have air-conditioning and a large and comfortable double sozed bed

Returned for a second stay and loved it just as much! This place is underrated—the pictures don’t do it justice. It was perfect for my first trip to Armenia and an ideal spot for a month-long digital nomad stay

The spacious area with high ceilings made it feel very open. Hosts Gagik and Karina were fantastic, always helpful with tips and questions (with a little help from Google Translate)
