WORTH $200 USD, BUT COSTS A FRACTION! I have been to 23 countries in my lifetime, but I've never seen hospitality and genuine care of the guest to this extent. Yes, there are steps to climb to access the accommodation. But this is largely compensated by the terrace with the view of all of Yerevan and Mount Ararat during morning coffee or evening aperitif! Basic but comfortable room, special mention for the very good bedding and the Italian shower. And the price is very reasonable considering the location 5 minutes from Kaskad and the Materadaran Museum!

Great little family run boutique hotel/guesthouse close to cascade and a short walk from the city centre. Owner Artak and his family are all very kind and friendly. The access to the property is via stairs in one of the older neighbourhoods of yerevan. Rooms can be a little warm however for the price its an absolute bargain and the hospitality is second to non.

I gave it a 5 because the spartan conditions were fine for a couple of nights. The mattress on the bed might have been a bit of a problem, but I didn't have any particular issues. The location is very convenient—near the Cascade, above the city center, with a great view. The hosts are polite and friendly.

The room is very clean and has a refrigerator, washing machine and kitchen supplies. The only bad thing is that the fan is not cool enough and the location is halfway up the mountain. acceptable

This is a family hotel. It's on a mountain. You can't get to the door by taxi. You have to climb up about 30 narrow steps. It's very inconvenient for people with large luggage. In addition, all rooms do not have air conditioning. In the hot summer months, the room temperature is 30°C, making it impossible to sleep. There is an open-air balcony. You can wash clothes and cook.

Great guesthouse. I combined it with climbing Mount Azhdahak. Tigran is very friendly.

Very good place & lovely people

Very peaceful location with a fantastic host, who couldn’t do enough to help us, very hospitable. We stayed in the larger cabin and it was cosy. For navigation, follow maps to Iris Guesthouse and join the rocky track leading uphill, you will see signs for ‘VL’.

We stayed with our family for a few days in the summer... An unparalleled choice for both family vacations and friendly or collective vacations. Rich nature with its wild and soulful charm. A wonderful welcome, simple, human care for guests, modest, non-binding and relaxing conditions, spacious area. A must-see and make sure. I would recommend visiting especially for nature lovers.

We stayed at this nice guesthouse to discover the sights around Areni. We really like our room with the two singles and one queen bed. A big plus was also the great hospitality by the owners. The dinner and breakfast were both delicious.

We stayed there for two nights. The host was very kind. What I really loved was the delicious food cooked by the mother of the house — definitely worth trying!

Siran Guest House is a perfect place to relax and explore the nearby Noravank Monastery. The owners are lovely; the breakfast is so generous, it's hard to eat lunch, and it's all about excellent food. Dinners with them are also excellent, and the wine is always available. I also had a problem with my drone, and they were kind enough to help me find it and offer a solution to get to Yerevan at the end...

We stayed one night and they were very welcoming. The room and the toilet were clean and there was air conditioning. The food and their homemade wine was delicious! They took us to visit Noravank and they helped us to get a shared shuttle to go back to Yerevan. Plenty of food for breakfast, included. Mersi shat for your hospitality!

I stayed for 3 days in this guest house. It is like home. Very quiet , neat and clean sequre for stay. I meet the owener Hobo. He was very friendly and kind person. Rooms are like Five star hotel. The hotel is right by a busy highway, the first room they gave me was very noisy, with the windows close, moved me to another room inside less noisy, has room darkening curtains, relatively ok. We stayed at this hotel in May 2024, everything was absolutely clean and comfortable, for this price it is impossible to find such a clean hotel in Yerevan, they also have a kitchen where you can make tea and coffee. For the price paid, the overall experience was a plus. The room and ensuite appeared quite new and were both clean and suitable. The apartment was excellent, with a stunning view of the city. It was very spacious and cozy. The room had all the necessary kitchen utensils in case anyone wanted to cook, as well as toiletries, slippers, and a hairdryer. The only thing I'd like to warn you about is the chill in the room, so bring a warmer robe.

It's clean and cozy, with everything you need for a comfortable stay, even a washing machine, even though it's only shared between several rooms. The only minor drawback is that the hotel is located high on a hill, making the climb a bit of a challenge even for young people; it's easier to take a taxi. Like Home is a nice guesthouse on the edge of central Yerevan. The home is very nice and clean with comfortable beds and kitchen and lounge room. The owner Arevik is very nice and helpful. She has helped a lot with our travels around Armenia and we look forward to staying with her again when we return to Yerevan.
