The room was clean and tidy, the kitchen was spacious and convenient for use and personal work, and the service was good. I suggest that the main entrance facing the street should have more prominent signage. On the 29th, I was at the entrance of a unit next door, and I knocked for a long time, waiting in the cold wind. I suspect other guests have had the same experience.

I booked a room at Army Hostel when I realized it would be great to lie down and rest on a proper bed between flights. Pros: The location is fantastic! It's close to the Cascade and Republic Square. It's a great place to stay for a while. Great location, close to France Square, just jump into the airport bus and the bus will end up across the hostel. Try to find a glass door, and you're there already. But please be mind that there isn't any lift to the hostel, but if you need any help the reception is ready to assist you :)

The location is excellent. The room is small, but has everything you need. There's a shared kitchen where you can cook or reheat food. The only drawback is the very high fifth floor with no elevator.

Close to the bus station, but not still not too far from the centre. It was very hot when I stayed in August so would recommend only staying in the air conditioned dorm in summer. Mixed dorm was a bit cramped - there were 4 of us in a 7 bed dorm and it would have felt very claustrophobic if it was at capacity. The bathrooms weren't as clean as I'd like. I booked one day, but ended staying several, as the hostel really has a warm atmosphere, nice rooms, superstaff and excellent location .I recommend the place warmly .

Absolutely one of the cleanest hostel I have ever been, very central but place in a very quiet and safe neighborhood, the place has wifi, kitchen, laundry and offers a free nice breakfast. The best part however is the staff, extremely gentle and helpful. This place is better than a hotel!

My favorite place in Yerevan. Every time when I going to Armenia, I already have reservation in Old Yerevan, because they have rooms every category, and for cheap prices and expensive one, and that is amazing!!!! They also have transfer from airport to hotel and back, it is one of my favorite services, when you just landed and the drivers waiting you. For one word it is OLD YEREVAN HOTEL!

The hostel is located almost in the city center, there are many fruit shops nearby, a large shopping center "City", where, by the way, you can exchange currency at a good rate, a bus stop nearby. I booked a double room, but upon arrival it turned out that this room was currently closed for renovation (but apparently they did not consider it necessary to inform us about this) and they could offer us...

Nice hotel. No luxury, but clean and equipped with all the essentials. They gave me last minute accommodation for a good price (to rest between flights). The communication was very quick as well as check in, which was important for me considering this was just a few hours stay. The staff was nice and helpful. Also the location seems perfect - close to both the airport and the city center.

It's about a 15-minute walk from the center of Yerevan, but it's still a very convenient location. There is generally no staff at the front desk, and it seems that you have to contact them if you need anything. After arriving, I waited about 10 minutes for a staff member. It was a private room for two people with bunk beds. Since I was just there to sleep while sightseeing, it wasn't a problem. Please...

The price is amazing for the location, but the rooms aren't that great. Poor sound isolation and no airflow since there is no window or aircon. Due to some mistake I was put in a smaller room and was refunded the difference in price. Setting that aside, the host is responsive, room is as described and it's just fine if you're not picky.

Good location, but room soundproofing is extremely bad. Impossible to sleep since you can hear everything.

A great location in the heart of Yerevan. Small rooms, friendly manager. You can leave your luggage and stroll around freely until your flight.

The building is old, but I can't say that the facilities are satisfactory. I'm worried because the personal lockers don't lock.

Everything was great, the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. The hosts were welcoming and helpful.

It's very cheap: laundry, shower, hair dryer, breakfast included to total price. Workers are friendly and rooms are clean. And the best thing is it's in the very central location

Cheap, clean, nice staff, fantastic breakfast and laundry included in the price. If you need they can borrow you flip flops or hair dryer. I can definitely recommend. The only bad thing was only one bathroom.

Huge thanks to the guys here, they did save me from spending the night out in the streets (felt like every other place in town was occupied; and there’s a good reason for that), but, being frank, this is one of the worst hostels I’ve seen. Public spaces are filled with piles of bed linen, bathrooms are in a repelling condition, the air in the rooms was so hot that a fan couldn’t help it. Bottom line...

I liked: Location and service, a huge thanks to Mama Laura for her kind attention during my arrival and to cover my requests. I didn't like the fact all beds in the dormitory were attached, one toilet/shower for all guests, people make noise up to late nights.

Great place, highly recommended for budget Travelers. It would be nice to have a locker in rooms for more safety purpose.

This is an exceptionally well run place. The staff is taking care of all issues, the location is perfect, the rooms are quiet, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. Just happened to be priced well too.

Due to unavoidable circumstances, I requested a cancellation with supporting documentation, but was denied. This accommodation is extremely inflexible.

It is nice hotel and hostel close to the main square( it is not my favorite area but u can easily walk to the city. Breakfast was decent. I stay at biggest room they have ( hotel). Important info u can’t bring anyone into your room ( I have my friend visiting from another city) they said for security reason! But I am not a kid who like to follow this kind of rule. FYI ❤️

One of the best hostel I have ever been. Super hospitality, clean room, perfect interior and all works perfect. Luxury one for very reasonable rates. Restaurants, park, groceries, shops are all at walkable distance in just 1-2 minutes walk time.

I wanted to stay in the city center. All the sights are within easy reach. The staff is very friendly. Everything you need is there. For such little money, it's very good. If you don't have delusions of grandeur, I highly recommend it.

Superb hostel. The place is new, simple, and very clean. It feels very comfortable. The atmosphere is cozy. The welcome is very warm. The beds are comfortable. This is the first modern hostel I've seen since I've been to Armenia; it's comfortable! I recommend it!

A small, clean hostel practically in the center of Yerevan. The staff is very helpful, and they speak Russian, too. You can withdraw money from a Russian card nearby and pay for everything.

Hostel Enigma is located in a small center, very clean, new renovation, all amenities, good service.

The accommodation is situated right in the center of Yerevan. The room was pretty clean and spacious enough. Beds were decent in comfort, but they were pretty worn. The check in and check out were very quick. The pricing was great. Everything in the room was a bit too worn out and/or stained. Bedding was very clean, though. 3.5/5

Perfect base for exploring Yerevan This place couldn’t be better located – right in the center, within walking distance of pretty much everything worth seeing in Yerevan. It was the perfect starting point for our stay in the city. The staff were kind and helpful, and even assisted us with some last-minute printing, which we really appreciated. All in all, a very convenient and pleasant stay.

The location is very accessible to all..from hotels,to cafes,to restaurants and shopping centres. A few minutes to North Avenue and more or less 6-8mins to Republic Square. There's a grocery beside the hostel too. Andre and Dima are awesome for handling the hostel. They can speak good English. You can cook in the kitchen, they have laundry room if u want to wash ( with 1,000 amd charge per washing...

I stayed there for 4 nights after checking out 2 other hostels. The mattress was not great, but everything else made up for it. It's on a ground floor tucked away from busy streets so you will definitely get a good night sleep. The curtains on beds are great and they have double lockers. The reception speaks basic English but if you can always use Google translate. No issue with staying after check...

We were upgraded to private room by the Hotel Owner and Manager. The room was clean and had the amenities like coffee maker, slippers. The location was perfect as all the city attraction was nearby. Mr Vardan the hotel manager was very helpful and courteous. he helped us with directions, famous restaurants and nearest foreign exchange. We will choose this hostel again on our next visit.

The hotel's location is good, but it's quite basic. It seems to be converted from a makeshift small bungalow, so the space is cramped. It's okay for one night, but laundry and drying facilities are inconvenient.

I recommend this hostel to everyone! The hosts, Susanna and her daughter, Sona, are very welcoming and kind. They're thoughtful and always ready to accommodate their guests. The hostel room is called a capsule, but it is very different from what I have stayed in before. It is made of wood and has a strong methanol smell. It is stuffy and uncomfortable to live in. Although the girl at the front desk wanted me to give a five-star review, I am sorry that it will mislead others. Except for being able to cook, there is no other advantage.

The location is not far from the central square, and there are many businesses around. The entrance is hard to find, and you need to be patient! The facilities are average, the attitude is average, and the price-performance ratio is average. The waiters generally don't smile, and English is very difficult!

Amazing location in the very center of Yerevan, very caring hostess Suzanna, she explained everything in detail, how to get there, how to find - there were no difficulties. I would also like to say thank you for allowing us to check in late at night, it was not scary and comfortable. The room and bed are very clean, the shower and toilet are also clean. I will definitely stay here next time!
