YHA Byron Bay in Byron Bay

We called to order two pizzas for delivery, after 45 minutes of waiting, we called again and asked about the order. They said there was a confusion on their side, and they put our order in for pick up. So we had them to put our order in again for delievery, they asked for my phone number (my number is an American phone number, I can make calls but I cannot receive calls, I informed them of this and they said it wouldn’t be an issue). After another 45 minutes of waiting, I called again, they said they couldn’t find the address, they tried to call me (which I told them wouldn’t work), they couldn’t get ahold of me so they went back to the store. I called to see why I never received my pizza, I talked to the delievery guy and he hung up on me. So I called again, and was sent to a directory telling me the store was closed. I called one last time, was put on hold for 5 minutes, talked to the manager, and he told me they couldn’t make the delievery if I didn’t have an Australian number to contact, which I was previously told wasn’t a problem. The staff was completely disrespectful and we never received our pizza.

No dine in, expensive, disrespectful and wait long.

Disrespectful staff. Even more disrespectful manager. I wish there was a way to make them pay for the worst experience ever. Dont waste a second with this place. Go to Legends right across the street. Way better product and super friendly and effective staff.

The security guys were very rude and unfair.
They just ruined my night. I don’t recommend it .

Won't be going back. Had two drinks and food and then took part in their games: face painting. We were then banned from going back in for being "too drunk". We are also probably 10 year older than most

You can get free Dinner card from some places. You are happy to go and enjoy the Dinner but have to show the Passport !! For a restaurant !! If you don’t take your passport with you Bye Bye ! Okay it is a Club later in the evening but for just eat dinner ?!

Can't get let in because the security guard says I had to much to drink. 5 women blind ahead of me from a hens party can get in but 2 guys who just got into town get let in. Talk about prejudice at its finest

It was my last night out in Byron Bay, I went first to the Beach hotel which was pretty nice. But somehow got an idea to go to this bar. I mean if you can walk all the way to the bar, they should let you in at least inside the bar and if you can't behave, then throw you out. But in my case bouncer was rude and arrogant, ask even my id's before refusing entry and I wasn't even drunk. I haven't seen this venue's staff but according to the previous feedbacks, they don't know what they do. I have been all other venues in Byron and trust me, they are much better for money and value. I was quite surprised because its NSW, and they have really strict drink policy. So, do yourself a favour and stay far away from this Cheeky bar.
