The staff, which consisted by Antouan, is excellent. He replies to any enquiry within minutes and also he seems to do everything else, from answering enquiries to booking and room cleaning. He is very sweet and very friendly as well as organised and efficient. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, kitchen equipped and had a good view from the small balcony.
The location is fantastic, with train station in 2m walking distance, plenty of bars, coffee shops and good restaurants for any taste, all around the area.
The price of the room was very competitive to a similar hotel room around the same area.
Will stay at this hotel again.

We really enjoyed our stay, its very central to everything - great places to eat, shops & the train station. So easy to get about. Also very close to St Vincents Hospital. Love the Art Deco touches in the hotel. Contactless check in and checkout. If you need extra towels ask for them when booking in. Although staff were there during the week - very friendly service, or just a phone call away if no one is there.

Nice rooms, with a kitchenette (basic items supplies), a really comfortable bed. No noise as double windows. Bathroom a bit tight but workable, lovely hot water pressure.

There is a laundry if you need @ no charge (you just need to supply your own detergent). Great views from the roof top which which will be nice when renovations are finished.

Just a few things that needed addressing in our room which I am sure they will do. Also drawers in our room would be good as I had to hang most of my clothes & use bottom of cupboard as storage. Needed to get a few extra coat hangers as well as they were not supplied.

Whilst apartment is very spacious, it lacks ambience, definitely needs some softness placed in unit. From a women point of view it had a cold feeling to it, needs a womens touch to add some warmth to the apartment. First and foremost please give guests some tea, coffee, sugars and milk. Coukdnt believe these items aren't available. A mirror in bedroom for a women to check her clothing. Extra pillows Some pictures on walls in lounge and bedroom If we wanted to stay a week, there is nowhere to hang your clothes. Not sure if you are renovating, but bathroom need a a tidy up, especially the shower tiling. For us oldies a grab rail in shower are would have helped. Perhaps you have a disabled unit with hobless shower, maybe I should have asked when I booked. There are no maps of Sydney, no books, brochures etc you have a nice Hotel it just lacks "softness" Sue Wassell

Outstanding customer service with Dane going out of his way to have our room ready early to check in and also a late check out. Thanks so much!! This hospitality alone will have us return 😊Fantastic location with cafes, restaurants, bars and transport right at the door. Comfy bed too. Excellent value for money I look forward to seeing the renovations next time we stay!!

Me and my twin sis stayed here for 4nights last May 2017.
It's close to subway station and nearby the convenience store. It was a pleasant stay.

The location is really good, close to Kings Cross and shops. Lots of eateries around. Room is really great, although the bathroom might have been a bit outdated. There was a bit miscommunication as I booked through Jetstar but it was resolved quite quickly. Since I went during the age of Covid, the staff isn't there all the time so it was a bit tricky to get help sometimes, but understandable. Hopefully we will get out of this pandemic soon. Apart from that, the check in system is good, the room was away from street noises, and I definitely felt very safe.

Fabulous value. Great location with an easy short walk to St Vincent's Hospital. Loads of great restaurants and cafes nearby. Wonderful roof top area with harbour bridge views. Great staff and excellent customer service....Dane is a legend and goes above and beyond to help. I highly recommend this wonderful little gem.

Good atmosphere, and service. Food is good but I wish they can make the pasta more hot, so its more fresh and when they mix it to the cheese wheel, it will more cheesy and hot food is good for presentation (well, at least i know it is fresh from the kitchen if its hot). But the rest is fine. :)

Pasta was yummy! Legit place to have pasta. Servers were nice and friendly. The place was small and It was rather quiet here when i came for lunch.

Friendly service and delicious food. Share plates come combined and are well presented. A little pricey and cosy (IE tight) but get why it's a popular joint.

Amazing food. Very tight limited menu and everything on it is spectacular. The Buffalo mozzarella is creamy and magical and the signature pasta is even better than it looks in pictures.

Still one of the best value and enjoyable food experiences in Sydney. Bill’s original cafe sets the benchmark for friendly, professional service and fresh products cleverly combined by Bill to create modern Australian dishes. Today we popped in for morning coffee and muffins. It was the first time for some Canberra friends who want to return. There is the original communal table, always a fun way to enjoy a solo experience. I will be back for lunch soon, maybe the famous sweet corn fritters.

Back to basics at Bills. A lovely change from all the cafes purely focused on the instagramability of their food and not on the tastes. Bills always delivers. My only gripe would be that the bacon and egg roll was a bit exorbitant for what you ge served to you. But the hotcakes, as usual were on point.

We'd heard great things about the breakfasts here, and we were not disappointed! The ricotta pancakes were amazing, and the scrambled eggs were, hands down, the best we've ever had. Just be aware that this place is small and gets busy. I don't think I'd attempt it for a weekend breakfast.

Been Bills Surry hills several time and it is my first time here. Atmosphere is so warm and comfort and Quite different from Surry hills . Seems to be same menu and having consistent taste n quality. Tried the pancake (better to have a bit more fruit like strawberry or blueberry on top) and yellow curry fish. The yellow curry fish is yummy and delicious. The taste of curry is well done and it is somewhat between India curry and Japanese curry (I am a great fan of Japanese curry).

Went there at 2pm on a Saturday ( it close at 3 on sat) afternoon. Not many people and good to enjoy the place.

Btw good coffee!
